I've edited it and edited it and still not approved for publishing. What's the problem? http://bizgrrl.hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Buy-a-Kayak

Hello, I have 3 hubs like that. No-featured. I was told it might be luck of key words, google not like a poor article content. Other issue can be the wholle layout of the hub or not well used pictures. Maybe you missing videos or polls. The list is endless. Lastly it can be a grammar issue.

I think it could be no photo credits.
Have you permission to use them if they are not your own?smile

You have two links to Amazon, not in a capsule.   Try removing those and see what happens.  If you're a member of the HP Amazon program, use a capsule instead but choose a specific kayak and say something about why you recommend it in the Description section.

You might want to read this and go over your Hub again,

I also had difficulty publishing my first hub and had to edit it multiple times to finally achieve the H=featured status.
Here are my recommendations after reading your hub.
    1) Try to use orignal photos and give photo credits on all photos which you use from external sources.
    2) Include more details and photos.  You should include photos of these
    a) Sit-On-Top Kayak
    b) Sit-In Kayak
    c) Inflatable Kayak
    3) Make a different header for things to consider when buying a kayak
