I've just found a number of my hubs on this site:  www(dot)toknowthings(dot)com.  Looks like there has been wholesale copying from HP going on so you might want to check for your articles.

I will be filing DMCAs tomorrow - I'll post the details of the hosting etc if anyone else needs it.

      Hi Judi Bee....

Wow, I just checked and discovered this site has copied a lot of my articles, too, so if you would be kind enough to share the addresses and info needed, I will start tackling the DMCAs.

      Thanks.

      Judi Bee . . .
Thank you sincerely for the heads-up. If I should discover that this site which is operated by low-life creeps has opened some of my hubs, should I feel flattered or irritated? Or both? With NOT finding my items on this site a foregone conclusion, I can see why your hubs and those of Glorymiller have been lifted due to you both being to talented.
      And I am serious.
      Kenneth

      Hey, Judi Bee and Glorymiller,
I have just visited "this" site and I must WARN YOU  because my anti-virus, malware, software went nuts when I hit ENTER and the page downloaded. So if you two haven't went deeper into this den if thieves, DO NOT. Just want to help my friends.

Cute!  So if we look for our hubs we get a "nasty".  Can only hope I'm clean as I spent quite a while there, looking around.

wilderness . . . I tried and tried to navigate/scroll, but my McAfee kept issuing a warning for me to NOT do it or have consequences.

Thanks for the heads up Kenneth - I've not had that problem, but it's useful to know.

        Hi Ken,

I didn't have any issues when I was at their site, but I do appreciate you giving the heads up and I will make sure to run spyware and a malware scan just to be on the safe side!

I found one of my hubs on this site yesterday. I was trying to find a way to contact them first. I found nothing that would work to contact them. Guess I will be filing a DMCA.

Judi Bee, thank you for the info, I need it for the future.  Most of the scum does not like poems so I only had couple stolen, but not by this site.
I would like the DMCA information.
Hope you get them to take down the scam website.

Hi Shyron - as others have now mentioned, the host company is MochaHost.  DMCAs can be sent to them at support@Mochahost.com.

I sent mine to abuse@Mochahost.com.  It was what came up in the Arin search for the host.  If it turns out to be wrong, I'll re-post here.

Thanks, Judi.  Every hub I checked was copied by those thieves.  I've filed a DMCA on 10 of them with Mochahost dot com, requesting a complete shutdown of the site and referencing this thread as well.  We'll see what happens.

I found hubs by merely searching their site for my titles.

Thank you for requesting a shutdown of their site.

linkedgem dot com had a history of stealing hub articles (including at least one of mine) and last I checked, they were shut down.

Thanks for letting us know about this site. I found 4 of my Hubs were copied by this website on 26 Jan 2016. Today I reported the copyright infringements via email to: support@mochahost.com

I sent them a sample list of copied hubs too Dan - I kept uncovering more as I searched their site and haven't got time to list them all.

I've found stolen hubs in several catagories so far, and suspect that they scraped everything I have.  Using the stats page, I merely sorted by title (alphabetically) and then searched their site, using their search button, for hub titles.  Every one I checked was duplicated there.

Thinking I'll wait for Monday, and start sending a DMCA every day with another 10 hubs.  Eventually it might get their attention, especially if I reference earlier emails.

A DMAC is only good for one hub, that is what I hear.

Depends on the host.  GoDaddy, as I recall, limits it to one.  Others to more.  Should Mocha want only one, well, we can absolutely flood their in-box with DMCA's.

Hubbers working together can accomplish a lot - I've seen it before.  One thief in particular we chased all over the internet...as we got one site closed down he'd open another and scrape again.  Whereupon we'd collectively send a hundred or so DMCA's and get that one shut down.  Eventually he learned not to mess with HP as anything he opened would only last a couple of days until we discovered it and shut it down again.

So has anyone gotten any kind of positive response from their DMCA filed?  I tried sending to abuse@Mochahost.com  but that email got bounced back. I then sent to "tech" and that one got me an auto reply with a ticket number.    But so far, nothing of real interest to report.

I did the same and have nothing since the ticket number, while waiting I filed DMCA's with Google so at least my pages won't show in the search results.

It looks as though this site has simply switched hosts and is up and running again at GoDaddy.

I notice he's using Adsense, so the best plan is to click on one of his ads, scroll down to the bottom of the page, click on "report an issue with the website" and follow the prompts to lodge a complaint as the copyright owner of as many of your Hubs as you can find there.

If he loses his Adsense that will hurt him a lot more than being dumped by his host.
