I am thinking of moving some of my hub content back to my blog, especially some of the Squidoo challenge lenses/hubs.
How do I export the content please?
Thank you for your attention.
Your post was indeed better than mine.
That's what YOU think! Will be 73 next month. Sorry!
Ah, come on. Anyone over 60 belongs to the old codgers club.
You must delete the hubs from HP, ask Google to de index them, wait a week or so, and then create them as brand new hubs on your new site. To do otherwise will create a duplicate content problem and will give you problems. There is no straight up way to "export" hubs. When you move your work, you lose all images, videos, formatting, etc. It's a great deal of work.
You should be aware that during the waiting period someone may decide to copy your hubs onto their own site. When this happens, they no longer are yours, and if you try to reproduce them as they were, you will not be permitted to do so due to duplicate content. There will be no way for you to prove they were yours first, either because that info disappears when you delete them!
I know how to copy and paste, silly.
On Squidoo you could export the lens contents as XML and I was hoping that there was a similar tool on Hubpages.
Oh well my 70 year old brain will have to think of something else. Thanks for the answers.
Did you save any of your work on Word or a flash drive? That would make it a little easier to move your writing. It's really a pain to do it. Best Wishes though.

Yesterday I spent some time deleting some of my Hubs that were performing badly is this a good idea as my Hub score seems to have taken a big hit.

I am doing a 20 "such and such" quotes about "such and such" hub. I even went back in after they marked it duplicate and made sure 400 of the words are my words, even though I know people googling it aren't going to want to read my words and are instead just going to be coming...

I would like to make a suggestion to the TEAM here on HUB Pages. I feel that it would be a positive improvement here on the HUB, if all of the activity that is perpetuated by Hubbers, were made known. For instance... apparently - anyone can go around giving thumbs UP or DOWN to a fellow...

I was on another thread and someone said many people sign up on HubPages, but very few go on to write a substantial number of quality Hubs.I wonder why this is and what HubPages can do to encourage people to stay on and improve their Hubs, which seems to be what they want. All my Hubs were recently...

Over the past couple of months I've been slowly reorganizing my content by niche. This means moving Hubs from one subdomain to another, as well as moving content from elsewhere on the web to HubPages. More often than not, each time I try to move a Hub I trigger the darn duplicate content...
