I visit HP frequently for years. Last week I decided to start writing in HP.
Then I created four hubs within five days.

Three of those are not featured and one is still collecting data.
I am thinking to make improvements in these hubs and get featured at least two of these before I publish any new hubs.

I am not very good in writing but anyone can write about anything in HP. So I thought I can share something about the places I visited, movies I watched, programming I know and what I see in media and in public.

My first hub is http://hubpages.com/travel/A-crescent-s … ach-lovers a place I visited by last year.

The hub started with score 65. Oh.. god.. thanks.. I was excited.
After two days featured status became not featured because of quality and suddenly fell the score into 53. arghh..

I wrote this myself and there are no any copied contents from anything but the photos I used from some other websites.
Any ideas why it is not featured because of the quality and suggestions to improve it?

My second hub http://hubpages.com/travel/Gangaramaya- … -Sri-Lanka  also in same scenario.

My third hub http://hubpages.com/entertainment/Who-e … -or-Mowgli  is different from the other two hubs in concepts. I wrote just what I experienced when I went to a movie.
The hub started with score 46 and not featured for the same reason is quality.

This one is still collecting data http://hubpages.com/entertainment/Bruce … -for-money

I like to use these hubs to learn how to write quality hubs and how to improve the quality of the hubs. Once I reach what I want to achieve by these hubs I'll start to publish new hubs based on what I learn from these.

So please do suggestion experienced hubbers..

From this post alone, I can see that English is not your native tongue.  That might be part of the problem. Hubs are to be written in English, and while this does not exclude others from writing here, translation from other languages can leave it rather disjointed and present problems with grammar and sentence structure.  My suggestion would be to have someone who is fluent in English look them over, correct any errors with grammar and sentence structure, and republish it.

        Thanks.
        I am taking that advice.
What do you think the images I've used from other sites?

The pictures are beautiful but it is illegal to steal them from other sites.  You should take your own photos. That way, you can show expertise on the topic. But if you can't get them, here is the Learning Center entry about how to get free images.

Thanks for that. I've removed some images from from the hub and added some photos clicked by my friends and credited to them but now it's NOT PUBLISHED.. previously it was not passed QAP... huhh...

Since the goal is to write polished, high quality articles, it takes me more than a day to write a hub, and I have a lot of experience and comfort with writing and editing in general, and with writing hubs.

I edited the hub with one of a native American writer and now it's 'not published' sad
