I thought it would be cool if there were a section on our profile page that displayed the medals we have received. It would kind of show what we each have accomplished so far on hubpages. I have received one medal and I only saw it in my hubtivity for a short time and now it is gone forever. Isn't it? Or, is there a way to view it? For those with a lot of medals, the last three received could display with a drop down to view all the medals.
I don't know about you guys, but I like to bask in the glory a little longer.
Great idea, Janet! I would one day like to think of myself as a veteran of the Blog Wars, and it'd be great to have medals to put on my jacket
In all seriousness though, this is a great idea and I'm willing to put my (rather small) voice behind it. It's always nice to be able to compare achievements with your friends.
good suggestion ,
but you can write about that in your profile page also ,
we did not recive medals every time ,
it can take about 1 months , 2 moths or more for every medal ,
it disturb arrangement of profile page ,
either it may look good & may be bad.
I like this idea! I was thinking something similar. I wouldn't even have found this topic if I hadn't done a search for milestones medals, so having that information easy to find would be great!
shreekrishna, I think you have the right idea. Your profile page is an excellent place to record achievements. I was featured briefly on the Featured Article Page and listed the date and article on my profile. Also you should be able to list milestones like the 20,000th visitor to your hubpage yourself. There is nothing wrong with self-gratification.
I think people should concentrate on writing good and interesting hubs; medals, like most awards, really are meaningless.
I have to disagree. I don't think medals and awards are meaningless at all. Trust me, ask any Oscar winner I am sure they would agree. Sure they take great pleasure in the art of performing, but that shiny trophy and acknowledgement from their peers is wonderful, too.
In my opinion, if you work hard and reach a milestone, then it is something to be proud of regardless if it is on Hubpages or out in the world. Just my 2 cents.
A very good idea. Because its achievements so it can be inspiration for few peoples to write more:D
I like this idea too, I'll bring it up with the rest of the team this week. Thanks for letting us know about it!

How about a feature that lets you view your awards and milestones. I would like to see when these milestones were met and what the next one is.

Hey hub-admin and fellow hubbers,Have you thought about having a little milestone section for profiles? Just so people can see what little medals you have. I was thinking it could work like the McDonalds name badge star system. A little "empty" square for each of the different milestones,...
