I've tried nicotine, GM...didn't help. In fact, it seemed to accelerate things, side effects like itching to come up with the most riveting hub possible, mentally searching for ways to get a million people to read my hubs overnight, trying to figure out how to quit working anywhere else but HP.
I was warned that it only gets worse with prolonged HP exposure.
Help--I'm a new addict. I've all the classic symptoms--sweaty hands, constant cravings to surf hubs, red eyes from gawking at the hub screen constantly, which leaves me with no desire for anything else.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is none.
HubPages is much like cancer - it gradually grows on you and by the time you realize it, it's already full blown and you're toast! There's some therapy available, like smashing your computer (but then there's always a friends house or the library), but no cure has been discovered yet
(I know it sounds bad, but it's actually not as bad as it sounds)
Me too totally addicted, I have been heavily into crafts for years, and got so addicted my whole house was taken over by them,,,,,,, I have calmed down on the craft front, but looks like this is my next addiction..
So many people to chat to, learn from etc etc etc..... Thinking of limiting myself to one or two hours a day, but before you know it the day has gone..... had no time yesterday to be true to my COFFEE addiction even......
I have the perfect cure. I'll loan you my husband, three of my grandchildren, and all of my friends who think they need my constant attention, along with my dog who needs to go out every 30 minuets, and all the projects in progress around my house, and the errands that seem to be self-replicating...I'll stop here. I often go for months without having an hour to visit hupages...as documented by having only 6 hubs in 18 months. But hey...I'm not addicted...well...only when I have the time.
I am sooo addicted to hub pages that I even wrote a hub about why hubpages is so addictive to me. I wish someone would have told me a long time ago about hubpages. I just found out about hubpages two weeks ago and I love it!!!
Hubpages got me writing again. I just published my first piece of fiction that I have worked on in some months. The story is an older one that I'm re-writing but for me, this is a major blessing. I've been hating writing for some time and haven't had an outlet for my science fiction! Now I do! Thanks HP!
You could be like moi' and push the limits until you got banned as I have been told that could happen to me by another Hubster.............................................Get more of my work done. But the Forums, would be more boring I love a good debate.
I received an email from HubPages about a recently published Hub, suggesting some changes that might mean it could be moved to Healdove. One of the suggestions was as follows:"Can you add some sources to support your information? You can create a "sources" section at the end of your...
I have been notified that my Hub https://hubpages.com/health/Tooth-Impla … s-and-Info is eligible to be moved to HealDove once I have completed the edits suggested by the HubPages editing team (I was contacted by email but the mail address used does not receive mail - so I can't ask my...
Hello all,Having recently joined HubPages, and a ken and active writer, I have yet to actually write and publish a hubpage. I intend to write about a diverse range of topics, and hope to make enough money to buy a couple of music cds every month (not a fortune!)What's the best piece of advice you...
I've been working on another website for almost a year now and it is time to join Hubpages. My plan to achieve the 1000$/month mark is ambitious but I am new here. Do you have any advice for a noob hubber?
Today, I write a HP based on how to achieve huge site traffic. I tried to figure out 7 techniques to achieve high site traffic or blog traffic. I am fear about my hub arrangement. Whether it is OK or not? Moreover, I see very low score. But I noticed most of the members have high score. I feel...
