    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my Hub DIY how to prep , repair and refresh your home . (must be signed in to view). What can I do to improve? Thanks!

You night also want to check capitalization in your title.
Titles are what google checks, so it's important to have those correct.
      Best of luck.
      Cheers

You also have many punctuation mistakes such as spaces before commas and periods.

Thank you . I noticed that happens when I move a text box to the side of a picture . Iam working on that today.

Links to Pinterest and Facebook are not allowed in a Hub, only on your profile.

If you have used a photo from someone else's Pinterest account, then you are probably using it illegally.  That's not a good idea on principle, but it's also not a good idea in practice - because if the photo originally came from a stock photo site or a big company's website, they could sue you for thousands of dollars!

That's because on HubPages, unlike Pinterest, you are considered to be using the photo for commercial use and that's not legal unless the photo is licensed for that purpose.

Two good sources of photos are Pixabay.com and Pexels.com, you can use any photo from those two sites without worrying.  Alternatively, I have a Hub about how to find photos legally - you'll find it on the slider on my profile.

Finally, always preview your Hub in Mobile view.   HubPages tells us that most of our readers are now reading Hubs on their mobile devices, so they want us to plan our layouts to suit them.  You'll notice that in Mobile view, right-floated capsules appear ABOVE the related paragraph, not below, which is a real nuisance.

Hi thanks for the feed back , most photos are mine . The paint chip one is from Pinterest but was approved for use . So I thought the credit for image would be Thiers . Iam I missing something ? Most of the things I use are my own images .   I have also seen others on here with both Facebook and Pinterest for photo source and they have many images . How is that possible ?  I am new so I need to ask questions . Thank you for the feed back.

The objective of photo credits is to show appreciation to the photographer, not to say where the photo is available.  So you should always try to link to the photographer's web page or site rather than a third-hand appearance of the image.

If they're your own images then just say so, there's no need to mention Facebook or Pinterest or provide a link of any kind.

Pinterest can't approve any images for use because the images don't belong to them - it's the person or business posting it that you need to credit.

You may well see photos that aren't properly credited on other Hubs.   HubPages doesn't put much effort into  checking photo credits:  the particular editor that checked yours might've been more fussy than average!  It's really up to us to protect ourselves.

You'll find there is a lot to think about when you start writing online, but you'll get there!

I just checked your Hub and see you've already made some changes but I wonder if you're a little confused.

Just to be clear, when we say "your own photos", then we mean photos that you've taken yourself with your own camera. If that's the case then you can just put your name in the Name of Source box and leave it at that, leave the URL field blank.

If you've collected photos from a Pinterest board or on Facebook, you can't use any of those.  They are not legal for commercial use which is what HubPages is classified as.

It all seems like a lot of work to start with, but it gets easier as you go along!

By the way, I notice a problem with punctuation both in your Hub and in all your posts on this forum:  you often put a space between the last word of a sentence and the period.

For instance:     Ok , thank you .

I'm sure you know there should never be a space before a period or a comma.  I'm wondering if there is something with your keyboard that is doing this and you're not noticing.

Hi, I am on an iPad and it keeps changing some of what I do. I'll watch it better. Thank you.

I'm not too familiar with iPads but it might be worth looking at your settings, you might be able to turn off auto-correct.

The point is that if it is you photo, the source is you rather than Facebook--so the attribution to Facebook might make an editor think you are using without permission.

Your punctuation still needs work, example below with corrections needed in parantheses:

Questions to ask before you paint.

Basic considerations when painting your room .

    - what (capitalize) is the size of the room I need to cover .(remove space before final punctuation mark, replace period with question mark)

    - Have I checked to see how the color looks at different times of the day .(remove space before final punctuation mark, replace period with question mark)

    - what(capitalize)  type of paint finish best suits my needs in the room. (replace period with question mark)Ex, easy to clean (remove space), semi gloss(remove space) ,(add space)no shine(remove space) , flat , satin or egg shell.(replace period with question mark)

    - Iam(Am I) I picking the color because it's on trend right now (remove space), or do I love it.(replace period with question mark)
