I'm not sure whether it's a possibility or not but Amazon Geotargeting through something like Geniuslink might be a good idea.
Here's an article on Amazon UK about it:
https://affiliate-program.amazon.co.uk/ … otargeting
Clearly, this is something that's much easier to implement on WordPress sites; however, it seems like it would be worth the effort here as well. International visitors get sent to their amazon site, a better overall experience, and everyone gets an increase in their affiliate commissions. Thoughts?
I use a similar process for eBay on my Wordpress sites
I'm sure HubPages are well aware of the facility because it's been around for seven or eight years for eBay, so I'd expect Amazon would be the same. They must have a good reason for not implementing it.
Actually geotargeting isn't super-reliable anyway.
Marisa,
In the past this has been the case; however, I'm impressed with this one.

I am glad that HP has an Amazon compensation program that is separate. The regular Amazon Affiliate program just had a (what I consider) a drastic reduction in commissions. This appears to be the second one in three years. Have any of you been affected by this? I know I have.

I have an Amazon Program Affiliate code through Hubpages and it was my understanding that I would split traffic with Hubpages 60/40. However, this morning when I ran a check on my hubs, I have not seen my ID appear in any Amazon Modules over the 10 hubs I checked. Every time I mouse over the Amazon...

I'm still pretty new to Hubpages, and I wanted to ask: is it still worth it (money-wise) posting hubs if you lose your adsense account? Will Amazon and Kontera ever add up to anything, or if you lose adsense, have you basically blown it?

What will happen if the Amazon affiliate earnings remain unresolved? Will we only be paid the earnings from the HP ad program? Will HP estimate our Amazon earnings and make a payment on that basis too? Given that we can do nothing about the Amazon problem ourselves, I think it is reasonable to expect...

Don't you just love that we don't get commissions for Kindle book sales? I'd love to know what the excuse for that is. Every time I see one of those zero commission sales in my reports I want to scream. I never link to the Kindle versions of books. Buy paper!! Down with electronic reading devices!...

I've not seen any Amazon earnings figures for three days. Normally, I wouldn't be too worried, but the last time Amazon went pending the situation went on for weeks and ended in big cuts to commissions. Maybe it's just a technical thing, but I have not had any problems with seeing daily earnings on...
