The first thing I tried was clicking edit edit on the poll capsule, but I didn't see anything that said close.
Ok, going to check one of my own. Will get back.
Got told: "Are you sure that you want to edit this poll? If you make changes to the question or answer choices in this capsule, then the 2145 votes that have been counted will be deleted. (Merely closing the poll to new votes will NOT delete the votes that have already been counted.)"
"Closed option" was right at top.
Thanks so much for your help. But at the top of what?. I see the text about "are you sure...", and the only thing above that is "HubPages says"
As PS says, hit edit, hit okay, check 'close voting' and then approve.
Oh,now I get it. I have to click "okay" I thought hitting okay would eliminate the existing votes. Thanks.

It would be very nice if we could close a poll capsule in such a way that:A. No further votes can be made by visitors.B. The previous results are still displayed.C. A little sign says “Poll Closed.” or some such.

When I highlight some text and click the link icon while in edit mode, the next window is locked up. I is supposed to let me enter a URL and click save. But all I can do is exit out of that window. I also can't click any of the tabs to change it to show Amazon links or other hubs. It is stuck...
