Help with niche sites----For several months, I have not been as involved with hubpages, so I don't fully understand some of the newer features. One of these is the niche sites. The names of these sites are "catchy" but is there any way to determine the best site for a particular hub without going to each site and reading the articles there? The names of these sites (for me) can be somewhat confusing as to their content. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
Good question. If your intention is to submit a hub to a new site, just pick the one you think is appropriate, Team will change it if it is not the right one.
Here is the full list of new sites>
I created a forum post about this before.
There is a list of niche sites NAMES on the blog, but it doesn't say what topics each site covers (and it's not obvious from the names).
There is another list of sites BY TOPIC on a forum post somewhere, but it doesn't mention the names.
We really need a list of niche sites by name, listing their topic areas. It doesn't exist!
That said - as Sue says, if you use the "Submit" tool and pick the wrong site to submit it to, they will suggest an alternative.
I made a a list of niche sites by URLs, listing their topic areas. People can bookmark the permalink of this post for future reference when submitting hubs.

Yes, it is rather long, sorry.
You can copy/paste the list into a document on your laptop, or, as I mentioned before, bookmark the permalink of this post for future reference.
Well, I needed the list for myself, so I thought I might aswell share it. Noticed the red bits?
It's a shame that "History" is no-where to be found.
I noticed the red bits, but I would be highlighting more than just Photography on FeltMagnet.
Feltmagnet makes sense as a name for a niche for Handicrafts, i.e. articles for creative people who hand-make things. I'm not at all sure that Visual Arts like Sculpture and Painting belong though, especially if they are talking about Van Gogh or Picasso!

I'm so confused right now. So I finally got my AdSense set up correctly (yet it's still wrong), and I am seeing numbers recorded in my reports. But why is the referring website only Hubpages.com? I have 18 articles and all but 3 are published on niche sites. I thought, surely views from these...

I have been pleased with the audience and revenue for my articles on HubPages since joining the site some years ago.I commend the company for creating the successful niche sites at a time when similar sites were folding. My existing articles that moved to those sites have done even better than...

Why are some articles published under a .com site? For example, wehavekids.com. Can anyone start this kind of site on HubPages? I'd love someone to enlighten me! Thanks

Hi All. It has been technically four years since I have joined HubPages. I was rather moved from Squidoo to HubPages when the former shut shop. But I could not adapt myself to the changed environment in HubPages and so did not bother republishing any of my Squidoo lenses for a long time. I lost...

I'm very happy with the results of the niche sites. It's a win-win for HubPages and writers like myself. But I'm a bit curious about the process for choosing Hubs that go on those sites. One of my most successful Hubs on a niche site has more than 1,250 words, multiple photos and an original video....

Just curious: How many hubs do you you currently have online right now and how many of them have already been moved to the niche sites?
