I have been trying to figure out for a long time now if there is any rhyme or reason to the order hubs line up on the Statistics page. I watch an article move up and down and I wonder why. My best guess just came to me today, does the hub ranking highest in google or other search engines take the top spot and as the rest rank they go down the totem pole?
I think they are ranked according to the number of views in 7 days by default (highest on top and lowest at the bottom). I don't think it has anything to do with google rank.
I am still working on the theoretical position that the higher ranking
wildlife scientists are saying that blackbirds are not really black.
Whatttt?
HoneyBB,
I am so glad that you laughed. This shows those "scientists"
who are studying what color the blackbird really is, and they
are monitoring this page in a clandestine manner that I am
not to be taken seriously.
So by your laugh, you are safe.
HoneyBB, seriously though, I am not mentally challenged. But it is challenging for me to focus mentally many times.
I have to leave now and embark on a new abstract/prose poem.
It has been super-nice talking to you.
I wish you My Best on Hubs and I hope that you make $100,000.00 very soon.
Your Friend For Life, ME
LOL...thanks...I hope you make $100,000.00 very soon too!
HoneyBB,
when I do, I will need your mailing address, for I WILL mail you
$40,000.00 just for being nice to me. And do not underestimate
the power of a fool and that being me.
HoneyBB,
an humble thank you for that nice comment.
I believe that you're one of my followers and I just want
to thank you for that right here right now. (I sing too).
I hope to read some of your works soon.
As far as I know (I could be wrong) they're ranked based on the number of views in the last 24 hours.
As for tracking by Google rankings, that would be an impossible task. Which one would they track by? You may be #1 for "blue haired cats", #5 for "blue cats" and #42 for "cats". Not to mention that search results vary based on your own search history, location and other factors. Many people think that they are just trying to rank for "one keyword". This is in fact untrue, because people Google a huge variation of keywords and questions that could all, hypothetically, lead to your hub.
I think they are ranked according to the number of views in 7 days by default (highest on top and lowest at the bottom). I don't think it has anything to do with google rank.

The current hub score is ok but not a great measurement of a hub or the quality of the "title." I would like to suggest adding a new column that shows the current Google Page Rank number of the hub. This information may be obtained currently by using one of the SEO rank checker such as -...

Hey guys, are all of the hubs on hubpages capped at PR 3? I'm curious because I don't think I've ever seen a hub with a PR above 3. Are there any hubs that have a PR > 3? If so, could you provide some examples?

Alright, this is a very basic question (yes, I know it is, but.....) I thought I understood this but the other night, someone told me that indexing has no affect on page ranking. He went as far as to say that he has purchased page ranking from Google, etc. I have not heard of...

What gives a website a high search engine result page rank? I know that Hubpages has a higher...page rank than info barrel.. . . but what determines a s.e.r.p. rank?

I have a hub that gets anywhere from 200-300 views every single day. It's an evergreen hub. Unfortunately, if I type the title in GOOGLE it's not ranking anywhere near 1st page. However, it is on the 2nd or 3rd page for some keyword phrases, but rank is still low. What can I do to dramatically...
