I am not earning from any of the articles that I published. I have written more than 70 articles. How do I earn 3 figures from writing?
To earn, you need traffic from external sources. Looking at your profile, you've only got four featured articles and those are on topics that compete with more authoritative sites. You need at least 800 - 1500 views per day in order to earn a few dollars.
moli9, your featured hubs are only short blocks of text. Search engines are unlikely to pick up your content because of how it is presented. If you want google to notice you then you need to add correctly attributed photos, split up your content into sections, add targeted, but appropriate subheadings and more main content.
You need to improve all of your hubs so that they will be featured. With only 4 featured articles you won't earn much. Getting your hub featured is only the first step. If you want to make 3 figures, then you need to write articles that will eventually move to one of the niche sites.
Go to the Hubpages learning center, read everything there, and then edit your articles. Don't forget to include high quality media, polls, or tables. They are interaction elements.
how do i put pics on the hub? i dont know how to do that?
Before you add pictures to hubs you need to read A Guide to Proper Image Use.

You cab learn more about improving the quality of your hub here:

To add a photo you need to add a photo capsule. On the left of the screen is a menu that lets you add different types of capsules, including pictures.
Take a look at the hubs of others here who have been successful. Then compare what you are doing to what they have done. This should give you some idea about what it takes to write a stellar hub that earns money.
Firstly - have you setup your Adsense and Hubpages Ad Program? If not, you won't earn anything. If you're not yet approved by Adsense, you need more content (10-20 quality articles).
If you want to earn 3 figures ($100 per month), you'd need around 50,000 visitors to your hubs each month (general estimate only, can vary).
Your main goal is writing quality content that ranks well in Google and gets traffic. Without traffic, you'll never make money here.

I recently had a hub un-featured for engagement, as the half-circle indicates. I think this is an unfair practice and should be eliminated entirely. Here's why I feel this way:Our hub traffic is often affected by the time of year, holidays, seasons, and current events to name a few. If left alone,...

This last year I improved my hubs and had 112 featured of 130 articles: Now suddenly they bust me down to only 30 featured hubs. I feel this contributes to a websites decline. I made a comment on a survey that I don't get any payout for this site and gave my opinion, and now...
