Got Real Problems with New Hubs Landing on HubPages.com First

If that hub is turned down for the niche site, the being on the HubPages.com domain and already indexed severely damages SEO potential for moving to website.

On the one hand, not HP's problem. But on the other hand, it causes me to not be willing to risk submitting the hub at all and it ends up on the website without giving HP first shot at it.

    I don't see why it's a problem.

No comment. Not willing to spend two hours and 10 more posts.

The only risk I can see is if we've got one of those scrapers who nicks Hubs as soon as they're published on HubPages.  But most of their websites rank poorly so they're not a risk.

There is no other damage.   The Hub will get deindexed from HubPages fairly quickly and then it's gone and forgotten.  There's no lingering taint that attaches to it when it's republished elsewhere.
