Hi Hubbers,
I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article Family: Reunited After Years Apart (must be signed in to view). What can I do to improve? Thanks!
This is probably why it hasn't passed QAP - from HubPages Learning Center:
"The Article Is Purely Personal
HubPages is not a traditional blog site, on which people publish journal-type entries. Articles can and should contain personal experience, but must also be...
Interesting
Useful
Valuable
.. to someone who does not know you personally.
If your article has been moderated for being purely personal, you can bring it in line with our publishing standards by:
Changing the title so that your article becomes more informative and less of a journal entry (e.g. change "My Dog House Disaster" to "How to Build a Structurally Sound Dog House")
Adding concrete facts, tips, guidance, and information that is easy for readers to spot (descriptive headings help, as do bulleted and numbered lists)
Again, personal anecdotes and experiences can add great value and we welcome them; they simply have to be provided in a manner that adds value to the article and provides readers with valuable information.
Please Save Your Personal Journal Entries for a Personal Blog"

Hmm, unlike many Hubs that ask for help, your grammar is already functional, and you've spread some photos throughout the article.
Sadly, this means I'm just not sure the topic will work. HubPages prefers informative articles that answer a question or teach something; this is a very personal entry that would likely do better on a blog. I'd either switch to that, or begin creating non-story articles.
Your profile mentions you'd like to earn some compensation for your writing. While HubPages does offer some money eventually through AdSense, it takes time and doesn't amount to what an actual job would produce. It can help, I just want to ensure you know the limitations. Good luck.
Without actually reading your hub, but looking at your title and thinking about my own family, I'd say you could turn this into an interesting how-to article/hub. People are always telling me they don't get along with their families for one reason or another. If your family has just been reunited, there will be adjustments needed, as you get to know one another again. Can you turn those into an informative, this-is-how-you-do-it hub?
Example: When children are young, they take on certain roles in relation to each other. I was the oldest, which meant I knew more than the others and ended up being a sort of guide for them. As an adult, having not seen my family for some time, that role is going to be unconsciously expected or even invited, but most likely resented. I need to be ready to catch myself giving unwanted advice, hold back, and get to know my siblings first.
