Can somebody please tell me how to get rid of that annoying chat box that keeps showing up on my FB pages? I have tried to close it, move it, eliminate it...to no avail. It blocks part of what I'm trying to read and I HATE IT! Help, please!
Try clicking on the blue line. It should reduce in size to one line.
Thanks Sally. When I went back into FB the chat thing was already reduced. I'm guessing you have to click on hide or close and then restart FB for this to become manageable. Very poor design methinks!
I think there is a 'chat off' somewhere in the settings. You can try that.
This explains how to disable chat completely on Facebook.
Originally did that and it didn't work!
I just did this:
I opened the chat box.
I clicked the gear icon to open the chat options.
I clicked "Turn off chat"
I selected "Turn off chat for all contacts."
Note that if you later open the chat box you will automatically turn on chatting again.
I used to just grab the box with the mouse and drag it to the bottom of the page.

Hi all, Just wondering if I can turn off ads on all my hubs and just focus on Amazon affiliates? I am banned from the adsense programme(not sure why) and have always had better luck with Amazon. ThanksKevin

Men, what's your #1 turn off when it comes to women?

When dating, do you have a turn off that you just can't tolerate based on superficial standards?Okay, are there certain things that just turn you off when meeting someone? While the content and character of the person is important.....Are there "superficial" things you can't accept?Mine....
