I've done little or nothing on hubpages over the weekend. No hubs, forum stuff(some - not loads) etc. I've been too busy elsewhere.
And so my Q is this: Why has my score gone up? Based upon the ever mysterious hubscore algorithm.
I'm of the mind it's publishing + forum activity + interacting generally + views + not entirely sure = elevated score.
lol just came back to add this little nugget: As soon as I posted this topic I dropped
lolol LGirl - I was at 98 not 100 Good stuff BTW!
Jama - absolutely no sense at all. In fact ... it's non-sense.
Happens that way with my score too. Stay away for awhile and it's up, join in again and it drops. Makes no sense.
It's totally random - I'd pay no attention to it, it'll drive you nuts.
It doesn't drive me nuts. I was I suppose thinking more in relation to the many queries relating to the hubscore algorithm and hubbers interpretation of it.
Personally - I think its got a mind of its own
I agree that it seems to make no sense. Mine has been bouncing around between 89 and 97 over the last week or so.
Congratulations London Girl. 100 is a fabulous score, and I've yet to achieve those lofty heights!
My score has been around 95- 98 for weeks now, even when I haven't logged in for days at a time. There's no apparent logic.
I already told you in the cynic hub-- NASA and monkeys.
Everything in life comes down to NASA and monkeys...

When I draft a longish answer (say 300 to 500 words) to a question, I'm given a box with only 3 little lines to write the answer into. I scroll up, scroll down, can't see what I've written. I save, look, edit, look...

http://hubpages.com/hub/How-To-Refurbis … s-AquariumMost of my hubs start at 50 then go up from there, but this one instantly started at 49 and has gone down to 44. I'm still new to Hubpages, though I've...

Greetings fellow hubbers! My hub about chronic pain used to have a nice score in the 80's and since tweaking it a few weeks ago, the score is stuck in the 70's. I think it was over-tweaked and now I'm at a loss as to...

Whether I agree with HP's new policies or not, I respect the site's right to set their own rules. However, I think one of the reasons Hubbers are getting upset isthey're getting warnings based on rules they don't...
