Maybe, maybe what Court says on
    thekeywordacademy.com
    might help.

I'm going to give it a go.

BTW, you are on the right place here.  Court recommends using HubPages as Hubs get more Google link love than your own blogs (usually).

Now, if your Hubs are not about subjects that people are really searching for with Google, you won't get much traffic from Google to your Hubs.  And traffic is what you need to get AdSense clicks.

Then, if you do have subjects people may be looking for, you have to handle your keywords right to get the traffic.

All this means is that you need a subject people are looking for so that you have a CHANCE of getting traffic, then you need the keywords so that you will get on the first page of Google SERP for when people search for those keywords.
(You've got to be on the first page of Google search results for a given keyword to have a chance of getting AdSense clicks.)

My rants, for example, are not what people are looking for on Google.  So, after I get them out of my system, and increase my Hub page count, then I am going to get down to business with keyword targeted Hubs.

Write more keyword rich Hubs. When you have over 100 hubs you would see a good increase in your earnings. The more content you have the more money you would earn.

Read my Hubs on how to make money from home. 48 Cents in a month is POOR. You need to improve a lot.

Check your spelling and write less about what is going on personally.  Readers are usually skeptical about rereading work that has spelling or grammatical errors.  Type your hubpage article into microsoft office suite or microsoft word so that spell checker can help you with your spelling.  Then copy and paste the article  onto your hubpage.  Remember people like to read about information that can help them.  If you are good at something that helps others, write about it but be careful to use spellcheck.  Try to be consistent and write a hubpage everyday to build up your content.  The commenter was right.  The more you write your more you will get paid.  Also, everyone is not a writer and you may do better selling on ebay.
