Why no income from Google Adsense?

   Why no income from Google Adsense?
   
   I signed up for Google Adsense when I posted my first hub two months ago.  Since then, I have published fifteen hubs and had around seven hundred hits, yet I have not earned a single penny from Google Adsense.
   
   Can anyone offer a good reason for that?

   I have 14 hubs, i have been here for 2 week and i have 818 total views and i have made only 0,33 and thats all...

   15 Hubs is not enough.  Also, the subjects may not be such that people want to click on the accompanying ads.  Depending on the Hub you could get zilch to maybe 5% clicks.
   
   First, you need a LOT of Hubs (100+)
   
   And, to get clicks, the person coming to your Hub has had to be motivated to search for you, not just another curious Hubber.  That usually means through Google, not fans.
   
   To get Google hits, your Hubs have to have many links from outside HubPages so Google thinks your Hub is important.
   
   And, your hubs have to be commercial (product or money making related).

   It's not all about having a lot of hubs because I began making money with about 9 hubs. It's also about creating quality and interesting hubs too. (ALSO, make sure your Affiliate accounts are set up and set up correctly).

   I have made well into mid 6 figures with Adsense since 2003. Today I just finished posting a hub with real proven advices on how to make money with Adsense.  I joined Hubpages about 10 days ago.  So far so good.  I am already making Adsense Money.  But the reason why is because I have so much experience with Adsense.

   It will help you make more. The real key to making money with Adsense goes beyond just placement and colors and traffic. Its about those things, but its mostly about matching visitor intentions.  I have really high click rates because I know to give visitor what they want.
   
   Sure it would be easy to say everyone please click my ads, but that is against rules.  So you can only hope that when people come to your site and they like it and find something useful they click your ads right?  Wrong!
   
   You make your hubs so they want to learn more!  Then they see the ads they will click. Trust me on that.  They will click.  I know people want to know EXACTLY how to make money with Adsense, so I know when they read my article good ads wills how up and they will want to learn more and click.
   
   I do this with everything.  Before I write Article I ask myself:
   
   What do I know about this Topic that I can write about that will help other people find more interesting facts?
   
   Do I own this product... or do I have experience so the visitors will trust what I have to say?  Who is going to trust me if I write about baking cookies, but I don't really bake?
   
   I use Google Adwords Keyword Tool to research my topic (I've written a Hub about how to do this too!) to make sure I know exactly what phrases people are using to find information on my topics.  This also tells Google Adsense what the page is about win/win.
   
   The next thing you have to do is to go out and get links pointing back to your articles from other sites so they will get more boost ranking in Search Engines.
   
   People here on Hubpages know about Adsense so they are less likely to click.  So the visitor that come from outside hubpages and find you is more likely to click. As long as your hub is interesting to them and makes them want to know more.

   I have to agree with dabeaner. You need to take a few minutes to learn about keyword targeting, and how to promote your hubs with backlinks and articles from other sites to get your hubs ranking high in organic searches.  I just started hubpages but when i create a niche website I start by making sure there is a keyword associated with the website i can rank for and that the pay per clock is worth while.  Each niche Istart typically is making $15-30 in Adsense after the first month and it grows from there depending on the keyword. Courtney Tuttle and the Keyword Acaemy are a great place to learn some of those things - he has a 100 hubs in hundred days case study you should take a look at.

   It takes time to really start seeing the money, so don't get discouraged. My adsense varies but it has been steadily increasing every month. Give it a few months keep writing and learning about search engine optimization. I put a site together that has some videos and tips. If you want to take a look at it just email me.

    I joined hubpages last 6 months ago and last 3 months ago I got approved with Adsense but my 3 months earning is only 2$ on 5000 views..

    to have an income you need TRAFFIC
    to have traffic you need CONTENT-rich articles
    then once you have traffic, revenues start to come in. I am now 13 months on hubpages and i get a reasonable income on Adsense through hubpages. In my first 6 months, i only earn 50 cents a week, then it started growing..
    
    just don't give up, keep making articles with great content.

    You have to remember that in order to make money from Google Adsense, someone has to click on the Google Adsense ads surrounding your Hub article.
    
    That cannot be YOU or you'll violate Adsense's Terms of Service. You can get your Google Account banned that way. That's called click fraud, and yes, Google is smart enough to know who did it. They track IP addresses.
    
    You're not even allowed to encourage people to click on your ads either. People have gotten in trouble for that.
    
    Why is Google so strict about it? Advertiser complaints. Gotta please the advertisers.
    
    Now, when someone clicks on the Adsense ads surrounding your article, Google will first share the revenue with Hubpages, then Hubpages splits the revenue with you.
    
    If you had your own blog, and you put your own Adsense ID onto it, Google would split the money directly with you.
    
    In the past, they never revealed how much that was, but as of May 2010, they revealed that you get 68% of contextual ad revenue while they take the rest. This is per click, not per view. Of course, things constantly change.
    
    If you want to earn "per view", then you'll want to write for Triond. They pay every month via PayPal, check or Western Union Money Transfer.
    
    Of course, you'll need lots of views, in the thousands, before you start to see the $20 or $48 a month articles. So write lots of articles, or get your articles a lot of page views.
    
    Contextual Adsense ads like you see on Hubpages work on a per click basis, not per view. On my Squidoo Lens based on a fitness DVD, I earned $7 once in clicks.
    
    So try writing your hubs around weight loss or commercial-type products.
