You get the impression that people are making little calls to their Hub buddies, besides just posting........ So therefore, people sometimes gang up. In other words heaps of these posts are contrived.
Oh and I love how some people write a totally boring Post and then tell others how boring theirs are. Just look at the Posts, obviously if a Forum has heaps of Posts it is because it has caused others to interact.
For example a boring Hub I made was kept going because fierycj, and Mango Girl and another newcomer are good at getting people talking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you don't like a Forum PLEASE DON'T BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME ON IT>
Mandy you seem to be getting your 'Forums' and your 'Hubs' mixed up. The Forum is for anyone to contribute what ever they like . If Team Management feel that the forum is getting off topic they will start another thread.
On a Hub you can control the "comments" that get published by simply 'denying' the comments you don't like. Pretty simple really.
Every time I come and read some of your postings you seem to be shouting at someone. I don't like people shouting at me so you mind toning it down a bit, please.
So why would you post a boring hub or post ?
What? Hey I'm sorry I don't, perhaps, understand what your complaint is?
If you think someone is manipulating, ignore them.
i think gang posting is a sort of cowardice act but to a certain extent it makes posts more exciting so its normal in its abnormalness
I don't think it exists...
And again, it is a public forum, anyone can comment. If you don't like how people react maybe this is not the place for you....avoid this forum and create your own.
@Mandybeau: No.
Great Advice, U.W.
@ Wudie, my brain is still working on your comment.
Is it normal to think that people are ringing each other before posting?
Seems like a really unnatural, paranoid delusion.
Yes. I would like to request that all people who post replies stick to the normal paranoid delusions. Besides, who uses the phone anymore except for 911?
No, of course its not normal for people to ring others before posting.
(BTW agvulpes, thanks for returning my call and giving me permission to make this post.)
Yes it is normal, I do this everyday with my special hubpage telephone that Hubpage HQ gave us, it looks much like the batphone and it glows red too...ring ring wtf is that now!!!
Sorry waynet had tell you I was posting but ... what on earth?! I think normal needs defining lol
Hmmmmmmm... I have trouble hearing over the telephone, (due to a hearing problem), so I apologize to my fellow hubbers, if I haven't picked up the phone before posting.
A bit of friendly advice.
If someone was asking about 000-974 exams, you could put it in as a reply. Otherwise, posts like yours are considered as spam here.
cheers, Eric G.
That was very nice (and friendly) of you Eric-- I cynically and simply reported it as spam.
You were right-- a newbie should get a bit of slack and a chance for redemption.

The count is off. I posted two separate posts to the same thread and the first one registered as my having made 330 posts, but so did the second one (which should have said 331 posts). As I said, it doesn't bother me in the slightest, just something I've noticed tonight. It's not...

Lately I've been seeing a number of posts that were placed on forums quite some time ago...as long as four years. I tend not to notice the posting date, but once I've taken time to respond and then notice it, I get upset. This was not happening until recently, and I am wondering whether...
