Why is Hubpages better than the rest?
Let us know why YOU think this is the best online writing community on the internet?
Hubpages attracts intelligent and educated people who want to share their writing talents in a non-biased community. Opinions, both negative and positive, are welcome. Debates are welcome. The site is user friendly and not cluttered with a bunch of doo-dads like some social networking sites. Hubpages articles are high in google searches, too. This is the best site for information on the web.
The level of professionalism and class while maintaining a fun way to blow off some steam in the forums. I don't feel a competitive nature and I feel a sense of respect given the amount of talent that is truly here.
Hubpages offers you the opportunity to read and/or create interesting articles filled with images, videos, appropriate ads, quizes, polls and other ways to dress up your information. While the results look great, it's easy to do, even for the technologically challenged. And you can make some money to boot!
Well, I was going to answer this question, but Dolores Monet did it for me. I switched to Hubpages from two other article submission sites because Hubpages offers THE BEST formatting options for presenting information online. And like Delores says, it's easy to do.
My advice is to make use of them in your hubs (along with a lot of white space and sub-headings for easy reading). I usually add at least 1 photo, 1 video, 1 link, and one other capsule to my hubs, as well as in-text links when appropriate.

I ran out of space on my blog when I tried to put up a 15,000 word essay (about 125k). Sigh. Thus the topic. I'd heard about HP awhile ago, a little tickled at the idea of making a few cents instead of nothing. In trying to get up a test hub, I read the stuff on subdomains,...
