Is it normal when you open a new HUB account that your author score is 30?
I started my first hub but I haven't published it yet. I joined today.
That is within the normal range. Your score will improve as you participate on HubPages. You may also want to check out
Yes it is normal. You do not need to worry - as soon as you start publishing a hub or two and your hub attracts traffic your author score and hubscore will increase.
If you go to the "hubbers" option in your Hubpages toolbar and select "latest" you will see that all the scores of the new authors are low.
