I'm hoping no one will want to talk about why we are all here instead of at some smash up party celebrating like normal people do on NY eve -
my reason is kinda like that, only its because I'm a caregiver and work most holidays - people have forgotten I'm here, which can be a good thing some of the time. And since I no longer drink or anything most of them had already stopped inviting me or coming to my house when I invited them because there was no booze. I get bored now being around drinkers, and they think I'm all "holier than thou" so - it's not that we're losers, its partly that we're ahead of everybody else who are still stuck in their boozing ruts and its partly that we know that partying hard is not as much fun as everyone pretends! That's what I think!

I need to do that, good idea! Also I pulled up the recovery thread for people who can't get to a meeting - I used to feel a lot less lonely when I could do that. there may be some other hubbers who'll want to join in there.

I have horrible memories of the spiked Cheetos; lampshade on my head, copying my ass on the copier machine.....oi the shame!
