   Right now I have an assistant that seems hellbent on causing me trouble. I have tried and tried to get along with this women but she is a 70 yr. old B*tch that claims she should not have to do her job because of her age but when I suggest she might want to step down or retire then she claims discrimination.
   On my only day off this week she calls me to threaten to file a discrimination suit against me because she told an associate he was not allowed to do something that I had previously told him he could. I told the associate that if she had an issue with him doing it the way I said that he should refer her to me.
   How is that discrimination?

       Thanks Steve, Feels like my head is going to explode Will be calling out tomorrow for sure. Now the wife is getting it.
       
       What would you think if someone in my office came to work sick as a dog and stayed till 3pm and went to doctor, then the following day even sicker and comes into work to spread more germs after we said please go home?
       
       Well now they will have to do without me for a few days till I'm good and ready to go back.

          i can't speak for your boss or other co workers, but i would probably just assume that your really dedicated to your job to come in on days when your that freaking sick.  I'm sorry to hear that. have you tried any medication to take care of it?

             Oh yeah Cough, cold and night quill and all that stuff. Got to run it's course ,but the thing is yes there is a point of dedication and coming in sick to ruin other people's health and families as well is rotten to the core.

                that's one way of looking at it, but I always try to look at the bright side of things.  you should try mucinex d, if you have like a runny nose and sneezing.  that's what i've been taking, since my allergies are acting up again, and it works great. the only problem is that it dehydrates you quickly, so you need to drink about a gallon and a half of water each time you take it.

          Ah, Mark!  I'm glad you're feeling better.  There's nothing worse than sore ribs from coughing.  Keep drinking the good stuff -- clear, clean water.  It'll help a lot.  (yea, that mothering side comes out!    )

    Oh my day was good, just busy working on a project nothing else.
    Actually it was pretty quiet which was nice.
    
    How about yourself I hope you got some sleep. I worried about that. Wondering if you did. Isn't that weird, I mean you are a grown man who can take care of yourself, and I don't even know you really, but I was worried whether you got to sleep.

    Mark, I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling sick. Chicken soup with two onions and one entire garlic! Amie Warren recommended it to me and it worked until I gave up all chicken and meat, and got sick again. I am thinking that my vegetarian days are over. I will also need the chicken soup!

                I'm going to the doctor tomorrow and I made an appt with the ENT too. All this congestion!!! I can't seem to get rid of it. I've had a bad cold since January and it doesn't seem to go away. I have about 300 students ages 5-12, so that doesn't help either. I'll survive!!! Thanks!

                      Thanks Steven. I do drink lots of water and take zyrtec or Claritin for allergies. I will have to try Mucinex.
                      Yes, I'm a teacher and have been doing this my whole life. I started teaching privately at the age of 14! But in public school I've been teaching for 8 years now. I love it. It's the greatest job on earth!
