No god required.
But, I appreciate the gesture.
I was an ignorant, pissed off 18 year old, who made a foolish decision to get on a motorcycle, while still pissed off. I don't regret it, because I learned to live with the consequences of that night.
The consequences of that night were a loss of my license for 60 days and the loss of my motorcycle permit. Not to mention, my bike was trashed beyond repair, my wrist was shattered into 500 pieces, which took the 3rd best doctor in the country, six hours to repair, minus one or two bones that were turned to dust, from the impact of the accident. I am not physically disabled, but if you were to put my left and right next to each other, you can see a physical difference between them and I have less flexibility with my right wrist than I do with my left one.
So, with that said. I'm grateful for my life, I am humbled by the people who understand me and support me. I have a different view on life compared to when I was that age. I am presently 42.
