I noticed that my unpublished hubs have a hubscore (and a low one, obviously). Does this affect my overall score (or anything else for that matter)? I've tried to figure it out on my own, but I can't quite tell if it's affecting anything.
Thanks in advance!
Ive had unpublished hubs have a score higher than some of my published ones! Its because as you add stuff in and edit the views are counted - I can get a bigger hub up to a score of about 70 before I publish it ! I don't know if it makes any long term difference but I do no leave hubs for 24hr before publishing just in case!
Thanks for asking this, Helena, and for the info, Paul.
I had been wondering about this, myself-- my typical writing "M.O." is that I have anything up to 10-12 articles "open and in progress" at any one time, polishing and tweaking them until they are in "publishable" condition. I was feeling a hesitant about doing that here because I thought I read somewhere... and maybe I imagined this... that unpublished hubs were somehow counted against you.

I have a couple of WIPs (Works in progress) that are not yet published and in one case is simply a holding tank for an idea. Does keeping these in my "space" and unpublished affect my scores in any way? Thanks!

This really isn't a problem, but rather something I am interested in finding out. I have a few unpublished hubs with little to no content in them, and the thing is, one of these hubs outranks one of my published hubs! I am wondering why that happens and if it is any indication of how good the hub...

Sometimes when I have ideas for hubs, I "start a hub" and sometimes finish it later or just let it sit there for a while. Maybe I should just write down my hub ideas instead. Does it hurt my hub scores or overall hubber score to have those unfinished hubs (often with just titles) sitting...

Like, say I have an unpublished Hum with zero content (just the tittle)... will it effect my author hub score or anything if I let it sit too long without finishing and publishing it or deleting it?

Just puzzled: How can an unpublished hub attain a higher score than any published hub? (The published hubs with lower scores must be pretty bad!)

Should I leave an unpublished hub unpublished if the score remains high?I unpublished a hub as I was not happy with it myself, but the score continues to remain high. I never intend to publish it in the future, and I know the score will eventually drop due to no views, but will leaving it...
