Hey Liza, welcome to the greatest writer's platform in the world (well, the online part of it). I've read a couple of your hubs and they left an impression, the feel was raw and I can tell you remember those events like they were yesterday. I think just keep writing from the heart and you'll improve with practice.

A couple of suggestions? You've certainly got a lot of material from an eventful life. You could use those experiences and turn it into something that can help others in similar situations (eg "How to Help Your Child Cope With Domestic Abuse").

Another suggestion would be to have fun with your Hub titles (eg "Secrets That Adoption Lady Told Me About Her Boss")!

Don't be afraid to reveal details about your experiences, especially your emotions at the time and the thoughts going through your head. I know a lot of people will be able to identify with that. smile

Hello LIZA123, you learn from making mistakes, it is just good to make mistakes, without mistakes you can not learn

Hi Liza, smile welcome to HubPages. I think you just need to add a few more tags. Use Google keyword tool to help you find good ones. Bookmark it too. Generate traffic to your site. Use the Search up at the top right. There is a lot of information available on how to generate traffic to your site. I think you're off to a great start smile

Liza--if every hub was perfect, we'd all be millionaires

Don't sweat it--mine aren't perfect and neither is anyone elses. Go check out some other hubs, see what others do, might make you feel better about your own work wink
