Ok, so I am new here, I set up a very clean hub with an RSS feed from my company blog - which is...

on topic. Immediately after adding the RSS feed I got marked for overly promotional. My Question is - how can you possibly add ANY RSS feed and not have more than three links???? Why even have the RSS widget available?

The FAQ explains this very, very clearly.

I'm relatively new here, and writing for pleasure, not for business, so understand that I may not be the best person to answer this.

However, I suggest that you switch from using RSS feeds to using direct URL links. Yes, this means manual updating, but that is probably a good thing. When you login to perform your URL updates, you can also freshen the other content. Fresh content is always more appealing than stale.

Note: As I was writing this, relanche also answered, and I'm sure her answer is much more relevant than mine.

For clarification. My question is - There is an RSS feed widget here.
HOW can you ever use ANY RSS feed and not end up with three links to the page providing the RSS. For now, I simply removed the RSS widget

You may not have an RSS feed that points to the same site as a link within the body of your hub, and you may not have an RSS feed on a hub with duplicate content.  Other than that, you should be fine with an RSS feed with up to 8 entries.
