I assume that political hubs generate views but not ads clicks. Is there anyone out there that is an exception? Any political hubbers that do nicely?
Generally, that is the case. The biggest reason is that current events don't have lasting power. A topic is hot for a week or two then forgotten. But if you braoden the topic more than just the current event, they can survive. On those, I have received some revenue
Some of the political hubs I've written on banking do OK. I think people are worried about the economy and their loans and whatever, so that topic seems to have some staying power, even if it has a political slant.
I bet folks are able to earn a lot during a presidential campaign year. Next campaign season, I will write a bunch. Until then, I'm staying away from the topic because I'm here for profit.
My best-earning titles are "how to.." type articles and "top ten" type articles, and anything about how to make money.
