Do posting on sites like Xomba, SheToldMe, RedGage, Snipsly, YouSayToo help your HubPage traffic?
Does the time you spend posting on these sites pay off, or are you better off putting the time into creating more HubPages?
Which of these posting and blurbing sites works best for you?
I haven't managed to get yousaytoo to accept hubpages, its better for publicising blogs. They all work as part of a backlinking strategy, although whether they are worth the time rather than putting it into hubpages I'm not sure. They most definitely help, but in the time I have devoted to them and others I could have written at least another 10 hubs!
Redgage is definitely worth it as it only takes a couple of minutes to add a link to your hub, Xomba only requires 150 words for a bookmark, so that's not too time consuming, however Shetoldme should be around 250 words, which takes a little longer.
If you use them, add in the relevant info straight after you have written and published your hub, whilst the topic is fresh in your mind. You should be able to rattle through all of them pretty quickly then.
The best bet is to set up an account on each, and try it out with a couple of hubs which are already generating some traffic to see if it works for you. If it doesn't, don't waste your time - if it does - go for broke!
You know they do and they don't it generally has a lot to do with the quality of your content and whether not your content is interesting. I generally use those services and link them all together but I can't be 100% certain of the effectiveness. I also like squidoo.
I would say keep on doing it because the bigger question is what if you didn't?
There are so many well written and explained hubs on this topic - try Edweirdo, Enlightenedsoul, RyanKett
I have a few too..http://hubpages.com/hub/Better-Search-Engine-Ranking-through-Adsense-Revenue-Sharing-Sites
yes, they are worth it! but its more for increased rankings for your hub - not really for direct traffic

Every time I write a new hub I post it on Redgage as well as SHETOLDME and a few others... Now when I go and check it later my Redgage posting is in google search but not hubpages...WHY?Anyone?

I am getting much more traffic on my submissions at Red Gage than at Xomba, SheToldMe, or YouSaytoo. For the effort, Red Gage seems to be working much better, yet the other three sites have a higher Alexa ranking. Can anyone share their experience/thoughts on this? Thanks.

I just wondered if anyone backlinked their backlinks, like putting Shetoldme links on Reddit for example. I'm seriously running outta ideas of how to get traffic.

Can you recommend good social bookmarking sites?I expect to see sites like Digg, Reddit and other common names to show up, but I'd appreciate it if you could also recommend some good lesser-known sites as well. Here's a few I use and enjoy:JumpTagsSimpyMister...

and Snipsly. This is a Four fold question.1.) Should you really do it? I've heard that it might not be a good idea to add your ID to these pages as your link could be worth a lot less in Google's eyes if they see you've linked from one page to the other and both have the same adsense...
