-Who is a Marine or former Marine. How many years and what is your job? Active or Reserve? Where are/were you stationed at?

How about a Marine Family? Not a former Marine...but a Father of one...and damn proud of him, that fact, and of all Marines since 1775!

my husband is a Marine, Force Recon (28 years - "hollywood" boot camp but too many places after that to list and too many missions to count) Retired, but neither he nor his 'brothers' considered themselves former Marines.  being the wife of a Marine, i always agreed.  even now, after he has died, i still think of him as a Marine, retired, not former, or, as one of his 'brothers' told me, "he's been redeployed to Heaven."
