Which is the greater motivation for you when writing hubs, making money or helping people?
I know some people create hubs to make money and others just want to help people. A lot of people do both. Which is the greater motivation for you?
basicly i do that because i like to write ...so nothing to do with help people or making money..
even i love to help people...
i write because i like..and i write all what comes from my head..
that's all...
be honest...
so far..i dont even know how to make money with this..
so i just keep enjoy writing...
Depend upon the nature of people who is writing hubs.As some people motivates and happy in making money and some people more prefer in helping people than money
My first hubs was basically to promote website I recently created, and started to read about how to promote it.
Then when I started I saw that I had change to share some of the knowledge I have retained by being NGO webmaster over the years and had to answer over and over again by people that have taken over.
I love it and hopefully there are many more topics to come...
I love helping people and I love to write - so this is like my Utopia.
The money is just a bonus.
I try to write on topics that people can use the information contained within. Therfore, I am helping people. What is my motivation? Useful information for the readers.

I realize it takes a while to start making money here. But it's hard to keep going when I only get a few cants for Adsense clicks. How long does it take to start making anything?

If making money wasn't an option on HubPages, would you still write for this site...No matter if you make pennies a day or dollars. This question isn't about how much money a hubber makes. I'm just curious how many hubbers would still hub if they weren't earning money for the pub or to get some...

I have just started, so I dont expect it in the near future, but how many hubs, or how many months before you start making money? How much traffic is considered to be good traffic? Right now I am getting about an average of 75 hits per day on 4 hubs. Is that good? What...

I made two hubs and both were rejected -I can understand that. What I do want to know is if the site can make money for me, and if so, how can I do it?

Is writing hubs about making money or for the love of writing?I don't write hubs that will get me hundreds of advertisement clicks, I write because I love writing. Why do you write hubs?
