Does anyone else have problems with Hubpages loading?
Occasionally when I'm moving through the site or reading other people's hubs the pages will stall in the loading process and I will get stuck with a frozen screen. Is anybody else having this problem? Do you know what causes it?
Actually i do, particularly when i'm trying to publish a new hub, some times im forced to reload the screen even with the risk of losing my work.
No not me. It sounds like you need to run your antivirus and do a disk clean up on your computer to make it work faster.
My internet's pretty fast and I run an antivirus every 2 weeks or so just to be safe as all my writings on my computer. It only happens on Hubpages. I don't get it.
There might be a few reasons. 1. Your internet provider could be the problem. Sometimes my internet provider (Comcast) decreases the signal in my area. 2. Your computer could be too loaded with garbage. Do a "disk defragment" and a "disk cleanup" (Windows). Also delete other stuff not being used like emptying your trash icon and deleting email messages you've sent. 3. I've noticed that when a hub is especially large it takes longer to load up. Normally this is in the Forum section.
It's likely that computer memory is not the issue. So clean up your hard drive first and see what happens.

The background: In the thread ‘If You Were To Date A Hubber Who Would It Be?’ Jenny (Inspirepub) rashly volunteered to join my vessel as did Cindy (mistyhorizon2003). Even as I write this, these two fine hubbing women are relaxing in separate parts of the ship as we inch our way through...

Does anyone else dislike the new hub layout?I much prefer the old layout to the new one that is being unveiled. Does anyone else feel the same way and wish HP would keep the layout the way it is? I think it looks just fine. The new one just seems so overwhelming and, well, just weird to me.

Does anyone else have random people posting weird comments on their hubsthat seem to be personal messages to other people that have nothing to do with your hub content? I keep having to deny and delete these!

Does anyone use the "Feed" feature of HubPages?I mean the "Feed" link at the top, next to Forums. I just pretty much clicked on it for the first time and I just discovered that you can post status updates to your followers.Have you used it before? Should we use this feature more?

Does anyone from HubPages do any editing for these articles? I hop a few here and there to findmany, many, MANY poorly written, poorly spelled and unedited pieces that are hard to read, so I just have to ask the question; what does HubPages do, if anything, to ensure quality? What are writers doing...
