I just got that question on my fan mail.
My answer is: write lots of interesting and original hubs and everybody will start fanning you like crazy. LOL.
Man my hubs must really suck then lol. It's like i'm like the new kid at kindergarden and i pooped my pants. Nobody wants to be my fan!
you are just two weeks old so relax. when you will be atleast one month old and have many more interesting hubs people will will rushing to be your fan.just relax.
Hi there, dont worry... You're still a newbie and since there are hundreds who join everyday, many of them run away after few days. SO, you have to prove your presence for a long time so people can fan you. Also, write nice and interesting stuff. Read others' hubs and leave a cool comment. It's not an easy task you know but you only need patience. Anyhow, you got yourself a fan for that nice butt
OMG I just became your 400th fan. I cant believe I wasn't a fan already. LOL
Yeah, you do have a lot of fans, LVM, and you write interesting hubs. One thing that can also bring in the fans is your avatar. Perhaps they find your eyes nice?
(Why is your score so low, though???)
Mommyfreelancer, there was another thread where the reason was pointed out.
One of the things you can be penalised for here on HubPages, is if you go around joining hundreds of fan clubs purely to get other people to join yours.
LVM has managed to gather more fans in a few weeks than I have in two years. Guess how?
They will come. Write good quality hubs. Read through different hubs on how to write a hub and how to use keywords. You can find those hubs by using the search bar above. I spent my first two weeks here reading as much as I could to understand the "how to". I also spend a fair amount of time reading hubs each day to help me be a better writer & understand what a "good" hub is

Having more fans will not generate any money, as we don't click on each others ads.
I'm only like 3 days old and I made a fan my very first day Though he is my one and only fan...I was flattered regardless. I'm easily excited haha
WTF, LVM...your hubscore is back to 1...you need to de-fan some more...
Ow...I knew something was weird. I'd go look for that thread. Than

Is there some trick to getting fans? I don't mean like to trick peopl into being a fan but rather a legitimate path to find interested people and point them to my hubs. I think I write with some authority about my subject matter but it doesn't seem to be attracting anyone. What's the trick? Thanks.

I invited a friend here a while ago and it seems that there are only two frinds that have join his fan club. Now I do notice that top hubbers join new hubbers fan clubs all at once--only my friend seems to have been missed. He needs to become known. He has writers block about who...
