I just wanted to apologize for my smart @$$ remarks on a lot of the hubs today. I just hope no one took them too seriously for this is who I am a lot of the times though today is another matter.
I am one of those weird people who can pick up on my friends' vibes and right now my best friend is with a guy she likes, being all playful and most likely making smart @$$ comments so in turn that is how I am today.
So if you see mood changes in the forums at all by my remarks, a lot of the times it's me and a lot of the times it's from my friends. I am half and half lol
Just an apology beforehand and a warning Have a nice day!
I'm kind of the same sometimes.
The chip sandwich thread wasn't at all bad though, I thought.
Umm, I got only one comment on my hubs from you today, and it was pretty nice. If you THAT smart ass, i can live with it
lol not on the hubs mostly the forums I've been a smart @$$
Plenty of them around. And I might be one them...sometimes. It depends. If other people get smart with me then I might get smart back, but I've never cursed or lost it, as far as I can remember.
Pretty much everyone does that--- but thanks for the warning.
It'll take a lot to actually get you banned from the forums in any case I think, and it does happen. It's happened to some smart-mouths in the past.
I've seen a lot of hubbers get away with a lot of things, though. But I'd like for it to remain reasonably lenient in terms of free speech. I've been on forums where they delete your posts simply because yours isn't the "accepted" point of view, and the post was fairly harmless otherwise.
Needless to say, I don't go back to those places anymore. They were children mostly anyway.
Are you serious? Delete just because the replies don't go with their train of thought? WOW!! Reminds me of this other website I use to be on...Ixenland. they renamed it but there were so many fights on there I left and I hear it's still bad. All my friends I made found me on FB and Myspace and they told me all about it.
I can't believe that a place like this has to deal with lame childish tactics like that. so sad!
Yeah, but that was another site, not HP, lol. It doesn't matter.
I actually like this place, and I've been on a number of forums.
That is true...I do like this place though I need to post more hubs lol and get more traffic so I can actually make money. it's tough lol
The offbeat comments are the best anyway. I've had at least as much fun with hecklers, odd-ducks, and rude people as I have had with nice comments.
Yeah, I know all about the the pressure issue- publish more hubs and so on, so on. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
I'm working on a number of hubs at the moment, but I'm having problems publishing one that's been saved. I've been talking to Paul Deeds about it and I must try and sort this issue out. That's the sort of pressure I'm under.
Anyhow, it's early morning where I am, and I'll be back this evening.
I figured if Misha can make an exit like this, then so can I. Besides, my browser's acting up...again.

I've been experiencing a drop in traffic for the last week or so. I've been seeing a lot of people in the forums talking about how they are seeing increases in traffic, but I am seeing the opposite. Is anyone else seeing a drop in traffic?

I've been on hubpages for one week and have made a whopping 20 cents on adsense. Is that typical?I've been working hard on my Hubs and bookmarking and backlinking. Is there anything more I should be doing?

The hubs that used to get 50-100 visits a day are down to 10-20 now. While most of the hubs have not been hit as hard, others have. Have you been affected by the update, too? What do you suggest to recover from it?

I was just curious. I have not seen a lot of hubbers that have been here at Hubpages for over two years..perhaps they are too busy hubbing away!

Do most hubbers (80%) make money on Hubpages ?

In the past two days I've gained about 15 new followers. Since I've been here 2-1/2 years and previously have never had more than 100 followers, I'd like to think that all of a sudden I've been "discovered." But virtually all of the new followers have just joined HP a few minutes before...
