I started hubbing this morning four hours later I googled a fairly competitive term in my field and one of my hubs was at 35 out of 25,000. The search term wasn't even in the title or the url, just one of the sub headings. Amazing!

I know earlier this moth there was reports of hubpages being victorious in the most recent google update but now it seems my hub traffic is down about 75% and all of that is google traffic NOT hubpage traffic.

In line with advice a few months ago, I changed the layout of several hubs so that the top part contains a full-size photograph, and layout almost all my new hubs this way. (Studies suggest this is what readers find most attractive and so are likely to read on.) However, I have read several times...

I just glanced at my stats a few minutes ago and saw something startling. My piece on porcupine puffers that was moved to PetHelpful has seen a tenfold increase in traffic! And all the new traffic is from Google! I've felt the traffic to HubPages was somehow throttled by Google for quite some time...
