If you have to imagine what life would have been like if Adam and Eve hadn't disobeyed God....
how do you think it will be like
Tough to answer at the moment. I suppose, we would be missing the story of Jesus in the Bible, wouldn't we..
It would be pretty boring I guess. Just hanging around in Eden and talk about the weather, which never changes... Never be able to eat apples...
The interesting thing about the world is, that it is not perfect. In a world that is perfect, there is no challenge, no competition nor real happiness. Everybody would just do the same every day for eternity.
Well if Adam and Eve hadn't eaten the apple they would not have had 'knowledge of good and evil'. Ergo they would have not have been able to teach their children right from wrong. What's more their children - in turn - wouldn't have been able to teach their children right from wrong.
Imagine living in world of 60 billion people and not one of them knowing the difference between right and wrong. Wouldn't that be hell on Earth? Perhaps the serpent (don't call him the devil - Genesis didn't) did us all a favour.
Awesome!
To think that there would not have been extremities of weather, wars, disasters and constant bad news on the telly - now that would be 'heaven'.
Life would be just too wonderful to imagine!
No:
murder
divorce
theft
dying children
cancer
old age
no death of our loved ones
no racial barriers
a world wide monetary system and language
no wars
no disease
no hunger
no drought or flood
no disaster
a worldwide community..................
These are many of the same things our politicians work for today. Many civic minded people join in their choir.
We MESSED it up folks, and we have spent over 6000 years TRYING to get back to it! What's up with that?
I don't know . Maybe Charles Darwin's theory of evolution would have never been...
we are living it because adam and eve are nothing but characters from a story. see, you already no the answer to your question.

Should it be a parent's goal to leave an inheritance? It is estimated that less than 25% of (adult) children are left an inheritance. So in this economy should parents focus more on saving an inheritance for their adult children or for enjoying their retirement to the fullest?

I read that question earlier and have been thinking about it while trying to go to sleep .... Well? Here I am ??? I was wondering what life would be like if it hadn't been? Had we not received knowledge we wouldn’t have anything to fear or anticipate. We enjoy the quest much...

Gen 218 And the LORD God said: 'It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.' 19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto the man to see what he would call them; and whatsoever the man...

Why is it assumed that Morals are dictated by Religion? Doesn't that scare you?It is mentioned a lot that Morals are dictated by Religion, and the inference (or the direct statement occasionally) is that therefore Atheists are immoral. What makes people think this? I'm curious. Has anyone...

Is religion taught from birth a form of brainwashing? If you teach a child from birth a particular religion, is this not brainwashing? Would that child discover that religion on their own if it's something they weren't taught?
