i dont use facebook i use twitter i feel its more broad that way all you have to do is creat an account
yes you can use twitter, if the purpose of making hubs to generate ad sense money, the thing about people visiting for social network sites it that they don't always click on the ad banners. try to find great keywords for your post titles. if you want other people here to read your material, all you have to do is to participate acitively in forums, thats a great way to get exposure and allow people to know you.
participate in the forums here and elsewhere.
make comments on other hubs..
share on stumble upon, twitter, email signatures as much as possible
Diverse your source of traffic like:
1- social media sites ( twitter, myspace )
2-social bookmarking sites ( digg, delecious, reddit)
3-post on related forums
4-comment with relevant comments in blogs
5- Here on hubpages comment with relevant comment on related hubs to yours , answers question and share your knowledge in the forums.
For me personally my 1 unpublished hub on hubpages gets its traffic all from 100 percent referrals. All that I have done was write my article and set it free on the internet. Not to many people can do what I have done with my 1 unpublished hub and it was found by referring sites 2 months later on August 2010 A.D. and I joined hubpages on June 3, 2010A.D. I written an excellent article and that is why it have taken off so quickly and successfully. So do not get discourage and be patient and take the advice of other hubbers and not mine for 100 percent referrals because mine is very different and unique model. It is a 1 of a kind that has no competition for it. I wish you the very best.
