I've been on for 2 months with 5 hubs and none have hit 50 hits yet. How can I increase traffic?
I obviously know it's still early but I thought I might have a little more than 100 total hits. Is it my topics? My writing style? Any feedback is welcome.
Try creating backlinks from social bookmarking sites, article directories, youtube videos, forums and blogs.
Hope this helps!
You probably need to do more extensive keyword research. Make sure the words you are using are phrases people are looking up on Google!
Use Google tools to help you! Also, you can try commenting on more people's hubs, so that they'll come read yours too!
You need to drive traffic to your hubs. Don't expect it all to happen for you! Use Google Keyword Research to find good keywords to use, and you can submit your hubs to social bookmarking sites like Digg, Reddit, or even Stumbleupon. I suggest you submit your hubs to all three of these sites, to get a good amount of views.
The advice below is all good, but my advice is this:
digg.com, create an account, put your links there
reddit.com, create an account, put your links there.
facebook. . .. ditto
twitter. . . .ditto
redgage. .. . .ditto
tumblr. .. ...ditto
shetoldme. . . .ditto.
e mail your links to the friends and family that love you.
I have heard many times that it can take up to six months before getting a good deal of traffic for your articles.
Learn two things and you might see a quick increase in traffic:
1. Keyword research(a bit tricky)
2. SEO
my stats:
9 days
15 hubs
85 hubscore
48 hubkarma
997 total views
adwords earnings £0.02
my take:
keep adding good hubs regularly, if ur profile is silent for longer periods of time then u may not get noticed
use effective keywords or tags
broadcast urslef via facebook, twitter, stumbleupon, digg
learn smthng abt rss feeding and submit ur hubs to rss directories
have friends or fmly to read ur hubs or share furthur via emails
learn abt backlinking and use them on ur hubs
socialize within hubworld to get this community's and each one's follower's viewship
post thought-provoking questions and answer other's questions and follow all related to build ur viewership
write a blog ABOUT the topics in ur hubs and link them with ur hubs in hubpages to create arrows
and much much more....
Hope this helps
Have you bothered to read others material and invite others to your sight as a "Fan" ?
Personally, it's sometimes not all about the topic, or how well-written it was although both are still important. Sometimes, being active in the community, and giving feedback and answering questions from others gets your name "out there"--and people will eventually flock at your hubs.
My stats:
17 days
13 hubs
81 hubscore
81 hubkarma
2263 total views
adwords earnings $3.59
My tips:
- Use all the social media that has already been mentioned (submit via OnlyWire) Reddit and 2leep work best for me
- Ping your hubs
- Use suggested links
- Take part in the community and follow other hubbers
- Write good quality hubs with loads of information (think about what you would want to know about the topic)
- Use the Google keyword tool and sort it by CPC to see the best keywords

As stated, I've been on hubpages for around 7 months and have 23 published hubs. I have only had around 2050 total views. I know things take time, but I'm curious if there is someone with close to the same member time and hubs so I can compare my numbe rof hits and maybe go back again and see...

Hi All, My traffic has been flat over the past week or two. Admittedly, I haven't promoted any of my hubs over that time period. That being said, I would like to get some steady and sustainable traffic. Any tips or promotional platforms that are working well for any of you?I currently have a few...

There were quite a few hubbers that joined around the same time as I did, and we've lost touch alomg the way.I've been here 12 weeks now, and my head is crammed full of information, and I think I am even more confused and excited than I was at the beginning.Just wondering how the other not-so-new...

I've read a lot about the importance of doing keyword research, but then you also get the impression that to really do that research properly can take a long time unless you get lucky early on or really know what you are doing. So I wonder, with some people pumping out huge amounts of hubs, are...
