Can anyone tell me what I am overlooking re; hub categorization?

I have organized my hubs into new categories rather than leaving as orphans. Why would this change not show on my profile where hubs are seen?

Did you save the changes?  They will show if you save the changes you made.  Just go back to your account page and make sure they are still in the groups you put them in.  If they're not then you need to do it again and save the changes on that same page.

Yes, saved changes and the groups show up. Should this not show the hubs under the new titles on my profile page? Thank you for your time, greatly appreciated!

I believe the profile page categorizations have more to do with hubpages software and possibly where you categorized them when creating the hub than any group that you could have grouped them into.

Yeah, I agree with Todd.  Grouping your hubs doesn't affect the Hubpages categories listed under your profile.

The main advantage for grouping your hubs is actually for yourself, not your viewers.  I found it started getting helpful once I had about 20 or more hubs, that way if I wanted to go back to edit an old hub, there was no need to painstakingly hunt for it in a long list under 'my account'. Instead I could just narrow it down to a much shorter list by selecting the appropriate category and find it more quickly there. So all of that happens under 'my account', it doesn't affect anything on the profile page. Hope this helps.
