    What's the importance of Status here in Hubpages? Can it be seen by everyone?

    im referring to the one where you can upload a photo and post with 140 characters.. Can it be seen by everyone? thanks

    They can be seen by many, but often go unnoticed. I often feel like HubPages lacks a complete sense of community. However, I believe this is due to the nature of the site and the reasons  for registering, but this site does perform better in this aspect than most others of this type. Users here are generally here to make money; I know there are some exceptions. This means that many users are unlikely to care about the content of your status update unless it entails something that may be of interest, such as a Hub on an inviting topic or familiar title.

    This means that it is better to go to more socially-centred sites such as Facebook and Twitter if you want your updates to be properly noticed and recognised.

    Sorry if this question was more geared towards the visibility aspect of the status rather than the user's interest in the status.

      at the end of a comment I made is very fine print that says "status visable"  and my ipo address...am I the only one who can see this?  I checked others' comments and I don't see it after their comments.
