I live far from United States. I have no company and I have no business in United States. How to submit tax information for hubpages?

You just fill out the form and your signature must be your real name. I too don't have tax information and was succesful to complete this.

There will be a choice of, I believe, - US resident or Non-US resident - or similar.  Click on the Non-US resident (or whatever the name is) and it will take you to another form.  Just sign this form by typing your account name here in Hubpages.  I live in Canada, so I already did mine.. just can't remember the actual words used.  Good luck!

As you are not in th US and you do not have US operations, you come only in the No Us Operations category and tax information is not applicable to you.

Forlan you need to find out if your country has a tax treaty with the US.  If they do, you have to apply for a number, send in the tax treaty details on a special form the W-E8 if I am not mistaken, and then whoever is taking the witholding tax off you will list you as 0% witholding so you avoid paying tax in the US.

I just started writing for hubpages; I haven't earned anything in fact I can't get AdSense for six months because my hub isn't old enough.  Do I still have to fill out the tax form?

    Thanks

In Canada, you can get AdSense approved immediately.  Write a few quality hubs and apply.  You will be approved.  Six months' time is stipulated for the Asian regions. Tax information is needed for Hubpages Adprogram.  As you are non-Us, I think you come under "No US Operations" category and hence tax information is not needed.

      Thanks mdlawyer,

I hope this works.  I can't understand why it hasn't kicked in already--I have an AdSense account for my blog and I've tried everything to get it linked to my hub, I went on My Account Page and clicked on My Account Earnings and then to Affiliate Settings and followed instructions there.

I think I've tried so many times that it automatically says to wait six months and not even give me the option to put postal code, ph. number and such on anymore.

I hope it gets all worked out soon.

Hi Angelique, another Canadian here.  If you already have an Adsense account for your blog, I can't understand why you couldn't use it here in Hubpages.  I didn't have Adsense when I started writing her in Hubpages and didn't apply for Adsense until after a month or so, and got approved right away.  So, maybe you just have to write a few hubs before you activate your Adsense here in HP.

We are all required to submit tax info but as Canadians we only have to check "No US Operations" and then sign the form by typing our account name.

Welcome to Hubpages!  Always nice to meet a fellow Canadian.  If you need any help just ask your question here in forums.  Best wishes.

        Rosie

@Angelique Newman. As you already have an AdSense account, you need not and should not apply for a second account. It is against AdSense rules to have two accounts by the same person. You need only to put the AdSense code on your Hubpages account settings. You can do it even on the publication of the first hub.

If it is showing something wrong, it may be due to some glitch. Some more experienced hubbers may come and help you out, or you may contact Hubpages. This is not an approval issue with Google, because you are already approved and you have a valid account.

Thanks Rosie, I'll be sure to fill out the tax form as you say.

mdlawyer thank you for looking into the AdSense, I greatly appreciate the information.

It's a great community here and I appreciate everyone's help smile
