What is the action needed when you receive no notifications to comments made, with checked boxes?
You need to go to the page where you can change your profile, and check or uncheck the boxes there. I have been experiencing problems too. I get some notifications, but not the one that gives you the weekly stats, how many read your profile or your hubs. Each time I change them, different actions are taken than I ask for with the checks. Maybe it's the system since it's the two of us. Any others having issues?
Yes definitely! Check your settings.
I do not know or remember how to spell Ari's last name, but it's phonetically something like "Fleisher". I'm almost certain that I've spelled it wrong.
Ari. F. is the Gentleman that handles this stuff - and I've seen before that he is glad to help out with this problem, or any notification problem that HP people might have.
I've been the same - glad it's just not me going nuts!!! But went in to check my settings and things are ok.

I've noticed lately that for some reason, I won't get notifications of comments on random hubs... all my other ones still email me though. Then I go look the main page on here and it says I have like 23 comments that I haven't approved yet... So I go look and they're way old and sure enough somehow...

We are currently taking a high level look at our notification system: under what circumstances we send a notification to users, how the notifications are sent (e.g. via email or the iPhone app), how users can choose to opt out of these, etc.An example of a notification that we already send is...

With absolutely no input from me, email notifications of new comments on my Hubs suddenly stopped. I am also told that many of my followers are no longer being notified when I publish a new Hub.HubPages answered my question about this by telling me to 'check the second box'. What second box? Could...
