One of my Hubs has been picked up by a Blog - with amazing results! - Does this often happen
For the first time ever, one of my Hubs has been picked up by a Blog. Whilst the rest of my Hubs are lucky to get two or three hits a day, this one has been getting Hundreds! - for almost a week now. Does this often happen? - Is there any way I can help it to happen more often?
That is awesome Gaizy! It goes to show if you write quality hubs/articles they will be appreciated and shared around the world wide web. have you ever seen the eBay ads that are funny and quirky that end up getting shared around the world, the most recent was a funny ad for a wetsuit that sold for around £15k I believe, many companies donated to the auction.
That hub should grow and grow. Somenone saw one of my hubs commented, then joined a forum talking about it and he asked me for more information on my hub. I was hoping that he would share my hub on the forum. The hub did increase is traffic but he didnt link to it on the forum.if he had, my oh my.
Really pleased for you, hopefully it will grow grow and grow. Natural Backlinks rock.
I love it when this happens.
Way back in the distant days of 2002 I started a small, unread blog that ran for a few years, and every once in a blue moon a post of mine would be picked up by one of the big boys. One of my happiest weeks was when Instapundit sent 80,000 pairs of eyes my way. Of course the blog wasn't monetised in any way so the extra views earned nothing but pride, but were the same thing to happen here I could be looking at $150 or so extra in my pocket.
Influential bloggers are valuable opinion makers, and it's well worth the effort to curry their favour for the occasional link (if only because good blogs are respected by Google). I've never considered it before, but it might be worth building a few relationships with whoever are the movers and shakers these days
Congrats, Gaizy. I am new here so I don't know how useful my answer will be, but I would imagine if your hubs are in line with that blog's theme, you could trade links with them on a regular basis to continue generating trafific for each other and to raise your search results on websites.
This should only happen with your express permission to the blog writer, and no it does not happen to often.
Congratulations, Gaizy! This has not happened to any of my hubs yet. I'm happy for you. That's truly wonderful.

First, a pure personal discouraging finding: just confirmed the traffic has absolutely dropped: within the past 24 hours, I had 31 hubs with 0 visits, about 20 with 1, a handful with 3, then the rest is 4 to somewhere around 10, and 4 of my beyblade hubs have accounted for 200 visits, seems to be...

There have been several theories about what content Google is penalising and rewarding in the search results but at the moment it does seem a bit random (from my end). Let's compare notes and hopefully we can see some common threads in there. What content of yours is holding on to its ranking and...

I have been thinking about how I can give some of my hubs that receive less traffic more light. On our profiles, we can pick a bunch of hubs that feature in a "gallery" that fades in and out, right under our bios and above the published hubs listed in the bottom section. This year, my...

I just have seen this one. I have tried to search for “most beautiful bird” but I was surprised that Discover.com is ranked higher than Owlcation on Google. Any thought?

Today I picked up the domain www. quotationsquotes.comDon't bother visiting it, its not developed in the slightest. The CPC is very very low. But if anybody wants to search 'quotations quotes' in the google keyword tool... you may see why I am so excited Thats going to be my new little project once...

Just found 2 of my hubs copied here by this blogger athttp://fatema-taher.blogspot.in/since some time I've been experiencing a loss of traffic in some hubs of mine that have been doing very well for a long period of time. Since the drop was a continuous one I put a paragraph of one of my hub in...
