Just checked out the news. A Tsumani warning for the coast of New zealand. 7.9 Quake
http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/33075304/ … iapacific/
I am from New Zealand, and the Tsunamai warning you speak of was ranked down as low as some of my really bad Hubs, suffice to say it didn't happen, but it appears to be coming from the skies it hasn't stopped raining all morning I am one Kiwi that is totally over it.
Pearldiver is from New Zealand.. who else? Does anyone know?
Scary stuff Ms Chievous. I'm glad you posted this. I will definitely send any spare good Karma I have that way, and check back here for updates. Hopefully some of our friends will check in and let us know how they are.
Thanks for the update friend, Im in the states , but of course this Kiwi heart is never far from the land of the long white cloud
They worry about me here in Hurricane country and I well , no actually I dont worry about them usually ,New Zealand has many quakes but God willing nothing extreme for many many years.
I thought it was for American Samoa? But the Old Firm and a few others are there in NZ. Looks bad too.
My prayers go out to everyone on those islands. I hope there is no tsunami!
The tsunami is heading for part of NZ but a warning went out in good time and people have been evacuated. Australia isn't expecting anything.
I think Bumble Town will be okay. Tsunami won't even be able to FIND it.
Samoa was hit worst and most of the damage continued under the sea ,the Pacific is huge.
By the time it reached New Zealand the warning like Mandy said had been downsized ,swells to 1m off the East Coast...
I emailed my son soon as I read this post , bless ya for posting and he emailed me right back and grizzled he still wasnt allowed the day off work ,grrrr ..kids .
Anyway thankyou for posting , I threw it on facebook earlier in case someone missed it on TV.
Shout out to Mandy Im off to bed ,but so neat to see ya back. Pomare
Hi Hey bad for Samoa, David Tua,s aunty has died amongst those that were hit.
I think he is about to fight again, he said life goes on and I guess it does tragic eh. But it is really freezing Weather, they were saying we had to expect Tornedos over the Week end. Hope it comes right soon

Only 2 people were injured - however buildings and infrasructure were severely damaged. The Epicentre was close to the rural town of Darfield which is approx. 40klms from Christchurch...

I was hub hopping and had to flag a few hubs for being substandard (word count). One hub had exactly 10 words and 2 photos. There should be a way the system prevents you from publishing a hub like that except if it's in the poetry section.

Could the HubPages team please explain why some of us are getting warnings about non-compliant Hubs, but others are having their Hubs unpublished with no warning?I saw this post on another thread today:http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/74842#post1623078and it's not the first time I've seen Hubbers...

I have noticed that, when signed out, there is a new homepage. I am not sure whether the new format is helpful. There are some great hubbers featured making statements on how much they earn from this site, the rewards and a massive video that talks about HubPages. There are also...
