Any tips on how to reach the hubpages ad program payout within a month?

Google doesn't give me much of anything. I get more from Hubpages Ad Program, but it takes sooo long to reach payout. Three months and I've only earned 8 dollars and change with it.

Well, I'd say that you don't have enough hubs.  I'm creeping up on 300 hubs - sure there are some that aren't much good at all, and get very poor traffic - but I'm fond of some of those hubs, and refuse to delete them.

I either make payout or get really close every month here lately.....but I'm certain that that is because I've got lots more hubs, and some of them have proved pretty steady traffic generators.

Also, in a lot of cases your hubs have to be six months or so old in order for Google to even much like them.

I don't mean to be discouraging - but this article marketing game is hard work, and the game sometimes changes on us as well.

It takes a lot of time, really. You'll see that as your hubs get older, you'll get more and more traffic. Just continue writing and you'll see things start to happen for you.

What I tell a lot of people is to check out the learning center. I came in to HubPages knowing a bit about SEO and I STILL learn a TON of stuff there. They're always adding new stuff so I'll bop my head on in there on occasion to check out what's new.

Best of luck! Let me know how things work out for you!

Your hubs are still very new.  It does take some time for hubs to gain a prominent search position.  I suggest grouping hubs and interlinking.  Write on topics that you know well and can write with some authority and experience.  Use social media wisely and get your hubs out there where others can find them.  I only have 54 hubs but have lately reached payout in one month.  I have been here two years and the hubs with the most steady traffic were published in the first year.  Check your traffic daily to see where it's coming from and what is drawing it in.
