   Hello everyone,
   
   We've begun to invite the second wave of invites to the HubPages Ad Program, this time to about 1,000 invites.
   
   I was able to send about 500 of the invites before I hit a Gmail daily sending limit - - so the other 500 or so will be sent tomorrow. However, the HubPages Ad Program has been enabled for all 1,000 already, so if you haven't yet received an invitation email but would like to see if you're eligible in this wave, you can check here:

      I seemed to have messed up my registeration. ie security questions for log in ( think its for the tax part) anyway obviously I didnt type it exactly as I initially had it, and the security questions kept repeating and repeating...
      It has locked me out for security purposes,but can you tell me what I did wrong so I dont repeat it.

         You should be very careful about how you enter the answers to the security questions.
         
         However, if you get stuck, you can email payments@hubpages. They will ask you some questions to verify your identity and then reset your security question answers.

         It's by invitation only. We've extended it in this wave to those with the highest traffic that meet certain criteria (recent activity on the site, minimum HubScore), because those with the highest traffic would presumably see the biggest impact to their total earnings by participating.
         
         With about 1,500 invitations extended, less than 1% of our user base has gotten an invitation, so don't feel left out. More than 99% haven't received an invitation yet. That's just the way betas go - they work with a small subset of the users first to make sure the system is bulletproof, before extending to all users.
         
         But sit tight! We'll be rolling out the Program to everyone by June at the latest.

            I'm a bit surprised to have been invited as it's hard to imagine my traffic is all that high, but maybe I'm judging too harshly.
            
            It says it is active, but signed in or out, I only see Google ads on my pages.  As the reports aren't working, I don't know if I SHOULD be seeing anything different or not.
            
            Edit - of course I just now signed out and checked again and now I DO see non-Google ads.
            
            Duh!

       I have 3 HubPages accounts.  3 of the accounts have same google adsense ID.  Now the question is that shall I use same paypal email ID for the all three HubPages account? or should I use separate paypal account for seperate HubPages account?
       
       Please confirm.
       
       Also If I can provide the same email ID for all 3 HubPages Account, when will I get paid? i. e. Should I wait for minimum payout limit for each of theree accounts to reach $50 or will I get paid when the combined earnings of 3 accounts reach the minimum payout liminit of  $50.  (My suggestion is that we should get paid when the combined earnings reach the minimum payout limit of all three accounts)
       
       In google adsense I used to get paid when the combined earnings reach  $100 (3 hubpage account + Blogs + website)

          You can use the same paypal email address for all your account.  But you will get paid only when each account reaches it's payout threshold i.e. $50.

       Hey i just signed up for hubpages good program .i were happy to get invitation but that happiness has gone when i saw one of my good hub who has had hubscore more then 80 regularly has been made unpublished saying sub standard.
       But hope to get some profit from hubpages ad program thanks to invite me.

          I think am the only person who is not liking hubpages's ad program.I just joined two days ago and my income is down nearly 90%.I think it just pays for impressions and hubpages keeps the money which come from adsense or other ads due to clicks.

      Just right real name. That works like digital signature. I doubt that you are enrolled in the adsense program or not, as both these steps come when setting up adsense for the first time.

                   I earned the same amount in a week on another site with only 5 articles!
                   So clearly my writing here is Crap! -
                   - Hence the 61% Drop in traffic.. and my PR4 gone.. Wow! (For Original Content!)

    Congratulations to everyone who is in and others no need to worry, as HP will send invites to more people as soon as possible.
    
    I started using HP ad program since March 4th, 2011 and the earnings are shown latest till March 19th, 2011. Sometimes there is a little delay in seeing your earnings but don't worry and have patience as you will see better earnings than adsense program with the HP Ad program.

    I got an invite for my older account.  But not for my newer account.  Hubpages allows a Hubber to have multiple accounts.   But I'm not sure if the Ad System will associate with only one account or not.  If just one, then I will wait for the invite for my newer account.  Because I'm try to phase out my older account.

       It works on an account basis, so it's possible for one of your accounts to be in the Program, and the other not to be (yet).

          But would there be any problems, if I later enable both accounts with the new ads?  Such that both accounts are enabled with the same tax id and paypal id?
          
          You might want to pass that question up to your software developers so they get a heads-up on this possible scenario.

             There shouldn't be a problem. But, as I said in the earlier post, each account accrues towards payout separately, so you will receive payout from each of your accounts individually.

    All signed up about 10 minutes ago, signed out of hubpages and went to one of my hubs, how long does it take before the ads show up since only google and amazon are there right now.

       If you still don't see non-AdSense ads (or, only 3 AdSense ads) by tomorrow, let me know and I can check.
       
       (Be sure to check your reporting, too, to see if any ad impressions/revenue flowed in through the Program on Tuesday)

                It says for March 20th-22 there is processing elays  pending and everything is 0.  I joined yesterday the 22d, but as of today 17 hours later, my hub sites do not show any HP ads only google.

    Not sure if I should write more and hope for the best, or keep holding off writing until I figure out if it will ever be worth the time. Gotta admit, I'm deflated about the whole thing. I was just starting to have Amazon sales and steady (although not huge) Adsense income. The hubs I'd written were sort of a 'test go' to see if there was potential. There was, but doesn't seem so since the big ole' google slap.
    
    BUT, big picture...
    
    I'm lucky since I do not have to rely on my internet income.
    
    So, you know what, I'm ok with waiting another round. Thanks for letting me work through that. I feel better now and am happy for you lucky people who get to try this out now I wish you all much success!!

    If I had to guess, I'd say it has more to do with generated revenue (in terms of Ads) than length of membership, hubscore, number of hubs and followers.

    Thanks Jason. Didnt get the email but had noticed some differences to my affiliate settings. When I visited thos forum I then realised that the reason I was being asked for security questions was to do with the ad program. I have now signed up!!
    
    Is there any chance in the future that we will be able to disable for certain hubs?

       It's possible but we have no current plans to enable that. However, you can toggle the Program on and off from your account across all of your Hubs.

    Had a browse at some of the people who got in and it does seem like they are established hubbers with reasonably long service and quite a few hubs so good for them, I still feel like I am in a stage where I am working up to more hubs and analysing the results so am happy to wait a bit longer and see what others have to say about the program.

    My Hubpages Affiliate program have been activated for over a week now and it is earning but i never have an email invite... did i miss it in the first wave? but it has been pending for a few days now? Just wondering what is happening ?

       Maybe it was trapped in your Junk Mail folder? If you've had access to the Program for more than a couple of days, you were included in the first wave and should have been sent an email.

       Some Hubbers have been reporting they make more from AdSense alone, so we've enabled you to shut the Program off and run your own testing if you like, and if that's the case for you, you can keep it shut off.

    Thanks for the invite...it is appreciated.  I do have a question though....I have reviewed the new layout in the announcements but my concern is....I'm having an exceptional week with Adsense, one of my top ones in fact (please no one throw anything at me for saying this) so I'm scared that the program will decrease my earnings with them?  I'm really just looking for reassurance that this isn't the case.  Thanks!

       Your AdSense earnings probably will decrease. More competing ads on the same page almost always cannibalizes your AdSense earnings. What most have seen is that the HubPages Ad Program earnings more than offsets what they lose in AdSense.
       
       But the Program is 100% optional so if you'd rather not risk it, feel free to deactivate the Program from your account. Consider it an alternative revenue source, one that you don't necessarily have to make use of.

    OK, I didn't get the invite this round. I'm still wondering if I should continue here on Hubpages. My Amazon was removed since the residents in IL can no longer earn through Amazon. The google snap took away some of my traffic. Although the past week I have seen a bit of climb in outside traffic..
    
    I'm just wondering if I should wait it out and see if things improve for me. It's only been 2 months on here so I'm questioning my time and efforts. Well, thanks for letting me get that out..

       We've rolled the Program out to less than 1% of our users, so don't feel left out. As you can see, even with that relative small number of users, plenty of questions and issues come up. If we had rolled the Program out to everyone at once, we would get quickly overwhelmed.
       
       You're doing a fantastic job for a Hubber who has only been here a couple of months. You'll see in our success stories section that it does take time for search traffic -- and earnings -- to accrue.

    Didn't receive email but I'm in. Sad to say I don't have Paypal account yet. I'm just relying on Western Union as a form of payment. I hope that they will include Western Union.
    
    BTW, I don't know how to have Paypal account. I have only one debit card (no credit card) and I'm confused how to register in it.

       Sign up for paypal and complete the email verification process. Once you log into the dashboard there is an option to add -bank account, credit/debit card to your paypal account.
