    Help duplicate content amongst my hubs

    Hi, I recently realized that one of my hubs was excessively long, so now I split them into two hubs but I am getting a warning about duplicate content on the newer second hub. There isn't any duplicate content within my hubs. Does it take a while for hubpages to update its index. Do I just wait?

    it may be that system has recognized some duplicate content and which you don't know about and it is possible, while your hub was long the percentage of duplicate content was less but now it is high so it is warning, it is my idea about it, may be differ from fact.

    they often check the content against the Google cache. Because your long hub would have been indexed, it is comparing the new hubs against that (even though its technically been removed)
    Best bet is to either re-write the articles slightly so they pass the check, or wait until the old hub has been removed from the Google cache (which can take a while)
