Why did Hubpages appeal to you?

This is the first site that taught me about creative writing and original content. I had never seen a site like it before, so I stuck around. It was through hubpages I learned about Google Adsense (in depth other than the many scams people use it for), and how you could earn through Amazon.

Through hubpages I learned about other original content platform sites, and have used them as well. I suppose if you had to start somewhere it would be here. I actually came across hubpages by typing 'how to make money online' through a search engine. I read a few articles here that invited you to join and gave you tips on how to start. And voila! I've been here for about 7 months or so. It's only been in this month however that I have dedicated more time to hubbing and exploring the community.

It gave me the resources to make my voice known.  It is not the first writing site I ever joined but it certainly is the best.

I've always loved writing, but for a long time I'd had a 'writer's block' in terms of creative writing. Hupages has kind of awoken the writer inside me a little... It's very exciting smile It also gives us a chance to interact with other writers all over the world, so there's never a boring moment!

I've been a wanna-be writer most of my life, but have never been able to find anyone willing to pay me to do it. This site seemed like a nice place to post some of my deranged ramblings where people other than myself and my immediate family might actually read some of it. So far that seems to be working.

Because of scores, interaction of people and ease of use.

Ok I have finally found my way back to my hub and can now answer your question. So sorry for the delay.  I think the appeal of the Huppages to me is not just one answer, partly I like it because I accidentally found it, I didn't know it existed and no-one I know knew about it either, so that makes me a 50 year old trendy, with it, person doesn't it???  I should I say Reem? I will never accept my age and I will never grow old.  I get praised by people because I know how to set up blogs and websites etc, but I can't understand why my friends, business people etc praise me for this, why don't THEY know how easy it all is.  So I think that might mean that I am a bit of a computer geek, which I have only just discovered.

I like to discover new things, I like to learn new things and I like to keep making changes in general day to day life to keep it exciting, so this little FIND I had with the hubpages was one more little surprise in life, not so much the Hub itself but the fact that I am the only person in all the little groups of people I know that knows it exists??  It also seems like a good community of friendly people who will listen to you.  Thank you for your question.  Sam
