Share hubs with your followers. HP recommends not to do it. Why is that?
For one thing, your hubs are already automatically shared with your followers when you publish them.
People may also see them again, when you reply to followers who comment-- in the feed.
A few hubbers have made a habit of sharing their hubs --one after another, again and again-- which pretty much falls under the category of 'self- promotion", and gets a little annoying and tiresome.
These are just my theories. For a more definitive answer, a staff member would have to give you a reply.
I guess, so that we don't bore them by sharing our already published hubs...
Thank you all. I understand completely and it makes good sense. I forgot they go right to the front page as soon as we publish.
When you publish a new Hub, your followers receive an email notifying them. Why would you want to tell them again?

My feed is full of "shares" by a Hubber. HP recommends we do not share our own Hubs too frequently, why can't that apply to multiple sharings by the same Hubber for other Hubs. I don't think they can possibly read all those Hubs, I think it's done for other reasons.

Why are we no longer allowed to share new hubs with those who follow us?Can anyone tell me why HP is now recommending that we do not share our new hubs with our followers? How do we get new hubs noticed if we don't share ... and why have followers if they do not know we have written anything new?...

Hey Hubpages Staff,I've been a member for 15 months now and have been told countless times that "Share with Followers" is NOT to be used by the author of a hub. Then why is it that the FEED is loaded with Hubbers promoting their own work?

How often do you share Hubs you read with your followers? If I read a quality Hub, well written, enjoyable or informative, I usually share it with my followers. I do not share every Hub I read. How often do you share Hubs with your followers? Do you read the Hubs that are shared...

In our hubfeeds, there's a 'share' button under the hub for sharing hubs with our followers. Are you okay with using this button to share your own hubs with your followers or are you too modest? Is it appropriate to do or is it seen as similar to sharing your hub links which is frowned upon?
