All of a sudden a new button appeared on my hubs: 'Pin It'. What is it and how does it work?
Pinterest.com is a virtual pinboard. The 'Pin It' button allows Pinterest users to pin your hub to their personal online pinboard. It's a place for them to collect all their favorite pages, and hopefully your hubs!
Pin it is a pinterest.com button to share your article to Pinterest. It is a new social network.
when I try to 'pin' a hub and then go back to my 'profile' nothing shows up! Am I doing something wrong?
Did you go to Pinterest.com to open an account? You need to do that first. There is a video shows you how to use "pin it". I joined few days ago. This is another opportunity for you to show your works to other people.
Pinterest is not directly affiliated with HubPages so after you "Pin" something you won't see a change on your HubPages Profile. Check out this article for everything you need to know about using Pinterest: http://hubpages.com/t/2ddd34
Hope this helps!
